It's the 51st preseason meeting between the two New York teams, the longest-running exhibition rivalry. Normally the teams play in the third week of the preseason, but with a regular-season game against the teams Nov. 10, this year's edition was moved up. The last time they played their preseason matchup in Week 1 was 2010, a 31-16 Giants win.
