Hi friends and followers!

I'm Garbanzo, and I wanted to let you know what the founders at LEAH Labs have been up to!

81 investors have committed over $55k to their mission in a little over 2 weeks. What a great start!

They wanted to let you know that they have submitted an American Kennel Club - Animal Health Foundation grant! They asked for $120,000 to evolve new proteins that bind to canine B cell lymphoma.

They proposed some cutting edge science in this grant so they can generate new proteins for the targeting of doggy lymphoma. These new proteins will give them more options for the generation of CAR-T cells and could also function as standalone therapeutics for direct treatment. Moreover, receiving this funding will allow them to generate novel composition of matter patents, further protecting their ability to operate in this space and defend themselves from competition.

LEAH Labs' business is enabled by the recent and rapid democratization of gene editing, cell therapy, and their founder's expertise in these domains.

I'm confident that their grant is unique and has a good chance of being funded.

We’ll find out in a few months :)

Until next time!
