We are truly appreciative of the support we have received thus far from members, friends, and the new friends we haven't even met yet. This campaign has already broadened our network and introduced us to people near and far who have shown their support not only through investments, but in taking a genuine interest in our community and even stopping by to join! 

We would love to celebrate the first month of our campaign with you this coming Thursday, June 13 at 5:30pm, for the return of Startup Grind Honolulu featuring WeFunder's very own Head of Community, Jiwon Moon. Impact Hub HNL is the partner for Startup Grind Honolulu's triumphant return and we can't wait to share stories, connect, and learn with this community. 

If you're not familiar, Startup Grind is the largest independent startup community, actively educating, inspiring, and connecting more than 2,000,000 entrepreneurs in over 600 chapters. Startup Grind helps nurture startup ecosystems in 125+ countries through events, media, and partnerships with organizations like Google for Startups.

Jiwon is the Head of Community at Wefunder and Founding Partner of XX. She was born in Korea, moved to the US at 10 and lived in the Bay Area since attending college at UC Berkeley. She has been at Wefunder for the last four years; she got the job via Craigslist after sending videos of her interviews with Asian American entrepreneurs. Her side project turned into a job then an accelerator.
