Blake Griffin made his Detroit Pistons playoff debut in Game 3 on Saturday, but it didn't make much difference in the final result. The Pistons will try to avoid being swept in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference series when they host the top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks in Game 4 on Monday.

The Bucks breezed to double-digit wins at home in the first two games of the series and refused to take their foot off the gas on the road, cruising out to a 22-point lead through three quarters and finishing with a 119-103 victory. "We might be the No. 1 seed and the best team in the NBA, but at the end of the day we haven't won a playoff series in a while and we’re hungry," Milwaukee superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo told reporters. "I think everybody's hungry. It starts from our coach. It starts from the leader setting the tone. We're just going to keep fighting, we're going to keep playing hard and try to win as many games as possible." The Pistons shot 38.5 percent from the floor in the loss and failed to capitalize on the emotion with Griffin returning and the fans in the arena on their side. "We made some uncharacteristic mistakes," Detroit coach Dwane Casey told reporters. "That's what the playoffs are about - getting through that, understanding time-score-situation. We had situations where we'd make a mistake or miss a shot, now we go down to the defensive end and not carry out our assignments."

ABOUT THE BUCKS: Milwaukee only got 14 points on 5-of-13 shooting in 28 minutes from Antetokounmpo in Game 3 but still breezed with seven scorers in double figures. "They can't sleep on anyone," center Brook Lopez, who scored 19 points and blocks five shots on Saturday, told reporters. "Our depth is a huge boon for us, it's a huge bonus we have. We just got to keep going to that. We've been putting trust in a lot of different people all season long and guys have been showing why we've been doing that." Khris Middleton scored a team-high 20 points while Ersan Ilyasova broke out with 15 points off the bench.

ABOUT THE PISTONS: Center Andre Drummond shot 53.3 percent from the field in the regular season but stumbled to 5-of-14 in Game 3. "He missed some tough ones," Griffin told reporters of Drummond. "He might have just rushed a few here and there. We've leaned on the big fella all season long and he's a big reason why we're in the playoffs. It's the playoffs. It's basketball. It'll happen to me. It'll happen to everybody on the other team. It'll happen to everybody on our team at some point. As teammates, we're there to pick each other up and help guys out." Griffin played with a brace on his left knee and logged 31 minutes but struggled to keep pace in transition.
