Hi, I'm Bee Law, the founder and CEO of Quirktastic Inc (and the Spider Gwen cosplayer above). We are so excited to be partnering with the Wefunder platform to run our crowd investment campaign!

A little about me, I quit my job working in Cytogenetics to work at Yelp in marketing while I built the precursor to Quirktastic in 2017. Since then, I had the awesome opportunities to join the digitalundivided incubator and come back as an EIR, participate in the first Wefunder XX Fund in San Francisco in 2018 and build V1 of our app before being accepted into the Snap Inc (Snapchat) Yellow Accelerator.

While we have already raised funding from our partners at Snap Inc, Wefunder XX, SoGal Ventures and some amazing accredited angels, we decided to do a crowdfunding campaign to give the Quirktastic community the opportunity to have ownership in the platform we are building.

Our current live app is in V2 which was made quickly so that we could get feedback on features. We are now working on a better functioning and beautifully designed V3 that will function better for all of our daily users, creators and organizers on the platform. We are excited to be able to update you along this journey!

Investing in any startup is risky, as no founder can 100% promise you any outcome. What I can say is that our team has invested a lot not only into this company, but into the geek fandom community. We know this demographic and the market is steadily growing. Through the various iterations, our main goals have always been to grow the largest geek fandom community while prioritizing the safety and privacy of our users as they explore their interests. With this central goal in mind, we feel strongly that a successful exit is possible. 

For those who have already invested, thank you! For only actively being in pre-launch for about 3 days, we are excited about the traction! 

For anyone who has made the decision to invest but is waiting, we urge you to invest while we are still in pre-launch (before we open the floodgates to our community!) We will launch after we have $50,000 in commitments.
