Legion M is excited to announce a fan-driven "fellowship" with Fox Searchlight Pictures to celebrate the new film Tolkien, inspired by the real-life story of J.R.R. Tolkien, debuting at theaters nationwide starting May 10. If you haven't already, check out the trailer below.

As part of this partnership, Fox Searchlight is working with Legion M to host meetups around the country when the film opens May 10th (May 3rd in the UK). We expect this to be our biggest meetup offering yet, and are looking forward to sharing more about limited edition gifts to those that attend plus some other amazing perks that have not yet been announced.

This is a big step for Legion M. It's our first deal with a major studio (now Disney!), our first PG-13 film (for all of us longing for a Legion M movie we can take our kids to), and the biggest release we've been involved with to date. It's also a really exciting new deal structure that, if successful, unlocks the door to a lot of exciting new partners and opportunities for Legion M.More than anything, we're excited to be a part of this film. 

We wouldn't do this for just any movie, but we've seen Tolkien and know it is a film worth standing behind. We also believe it's the perfect introduction to Legion M for millions of Lord of the Rings fans around the world--we're excited to invite them to join OUR fellowship as Legion M battles against all odds in our quest to change the world!
