## FAQ
1. **What is the market potential for Turant in terms of number of users and in terms of revenue ?**
 - There are over 2B people globally who are cut off from the digital economy due to a lack of English literacy, smartphone availability, internet availability, etc. Our mission is to ultimately bring this underserved population into the digital economy via a portfolio of solutions that are offered at a very low cost. We’ll start in India and expand outwards. The TAM of just one of our solutions, A2P replacement, is $75B annually and ripe for disruption from our products. We’re getting traction ...
2. **Is the company registered in US or India?**
 - Turant Inc. is registered and incorporated in USA. India is the first market and then other opportunities in Asia including in Malaysia, Indonesia etc. Turant will be selling in India via partners in India.
3. **Congrates for the success so far. I am interested and have few questions. 1. Is this not been tried before? Who is your competitors. How are you better than them? 2. Do you have any revenue now? what is revenue projection next few years. 3. Why are you not trying in US first? ...**
 - Great questions. We are putting together a response and will have it shortly. Thank you for your interest. The responses are below: 1. Has this not been tried before? Using voice for identifying a person has been used by many companies but in most cases for use in Call center end user identification. No one has the accuracy to use these for financial transactions and in most cases the solutions learn on American-English and this limits its applicability in non American-English uses. We are in...

 - The current SMS OTP 2FA solution requires requesting an OTP, getting the 6-8 digit via SMS and then entering them into a separate screen or window. Multiple steps and delays which happen when the OTP is not received in time makes it an undesirable experience. Turant 2FA Voiceverify will prompt to speak out a sequence of digits and successfully verify the person in real time. It is similar to facial ID but using voice ID which makes it ubiquitous with no reliance on internet or smartphone devi...

## Q&A
- Q: What is your runway? How close are you to break-even? With parts of the tech economy softening at the moment, this question becomes more important I think for any startup.
 - A: Sorry we missed this question earlier. While parts of the tech economy are softening, we built Turant for exactly this kind of environment. We operate lean by design. Burn is tightly managed. Our team is small, senior, and execution-driven. AI acts as a force multiplier across engineering, testing, and delivery — allowing us to move with the velocity of a much larger company without carrying the overhead. We’re already generating early revenue from multiple accounts, proving real enterprise demand for edge-native voice identity. Meanwhile, we’re in advanced discussions with a larger enterprise opportunity that could materially accelerate our path to break-even. The founders remain fully committed, with personal reserves available if needed. Stability is not a question — execution is the focus. We are not chasing growth at any cost. We are building durable infrastructure with strong unit economics. In markets like this, companies either retrench — or they pull ahead. This is where disciplined execution compounds. This is where real companies are built. And this is often the last quiet phase before momentum becomes visible to everyone. The opportunity to invest before visibility catches up with execution doesn’t stay open for long.
- Q: I've invested in you before and I believe in the possibility of your company. I think doing development and expansion in India (especially linguistically) is promising. But my concern is I don't see anyone independently testing your technology (you're ripe for a paid open international hackathon challenge) and there are sparse actual paying customers. I think you have great theoretical tech, but AI can be overrated and needs to be validated with real world testing. Do you have any objective outside validation or testing that you can provide to us?
 - A: Jason—appreciate you backing us again. Your point on outside validation is fair. Here’s where we are and what we’re doing next. 1) Real-world validation (the kind that matters). We have multiple paying deployments and several enterprise pilots that started as head-to-head tests on customers’ data and converted to paid use. We passed 100% of the required acceptance tests in those evaluations. Two current evaluations are material: one against a >1B-record voice library, and another with a top global TV/appliance manufacturer across device use cases. NDAs limit name-dropping. 2) Independent testing plan. Third-party certification quotes are >$250k, so we’re sequencing spend: Near-term (public): publish a concise validation report (methodology, FAR/FRR/EER, latency, footprint) on standard telephony + far-field sets; open a hosted demo API so anyone can reproduce our numbers. Later when cash flow positive: commission a recognized independent lab evaluation and run a paid, open red-team/hackathon with transparent rules and a public leaderboard. We like your hackathon idea and will implement it. Academic exposure: a major U.S. university is encouraging students to build on our APIs this semester; we’ll publish what they find—warts and all—and fold fixes back into the product. 3) How we avoid “AI hype.” We don’t rely on generative AI. Our verifier is deterministic: signal processing + learned embeddings with strict thresholds. ML is used to denoise and harden, not to “guess,” so there’s no hallucination risk in scoring. 4) Why us (grit). We’re founder-led, scrappy, and execution-first. We built for on-device/on-prem constraints most incumbents avoid. We ship fast, take the tough customer calls, and do what it takes—publish results, invite attack, iterate quickly—to earn trust. Bottom line: we already have the validation that matters—customers paying for outcomes—and we’re committing to public, reproducible, third-party validation next so every investor can see the same truth.
 - A: I would love to get on a call and discuss more. Are you interested in a Zoom call?
- Q: Can you share your thoughts on how often you will update us on how things are progressing with your goals and business plan? Secondly, do you intend to file the annual report with the SEC? Thanks for your feedback.
 - A: Dear Eric L - we are in trials or discussions in multiple Tier1 accounts. Due to NDA restrictions and competitive considerations, their names cannot be shared. The data related to annual report is available when this investment round was opened in May 2024. Not much has changed in financials since then, annual report to SEC will be filed in 2025 as required by SEC. Feel free to ask any follow-up questions. If you would like to get on a call - free free to request and we will follow thru.
- Q: Hi there, a) What is your most recent monthly burn rate? b) What is your most recent monthly cash on hand? c) Are you raising a parallel angel or VC round simultaneously? If yes, who is investing in this round?
 - A: Hi - thanks for the questions. a) Our burn is in the range of $10k per month and consistent for last 12 months or so. Once we get one of the bigger deals, our burn will increase but so will the revenue b) Most recent cash in hand is available in the information available on WeFunder, it is quite small left over, we will be using the proceeds of this latest crowdfunding investments to fund and the founders may loan more money as needed to company c) We will start working on an angel/VC round soon, right now we do not have any VC/angel in this investment however a potential customer has already invested in the company. Hope we are able to answer your questions and thank you for your interest.
- Q: Anurag - can you answer for Manjit which Company did he ipo on nasdaq? Was he the ceo?
 - A: Responding for Manjit - who is not available due to personal reasons. Manjit was the Managing Director for the India region for Ruckus Wireless which went IPO on NYSE and not NASDAQ as erroneoulsy mentioned, that error will be fixed. Ruckus Wireless was acquired by Brocade Communication system in 2016. Manjit’s contributions grew the sales in the India region to over 120 named accounts and a key contributor for the IPO listing.
- Q: You mentioned you raised $65m for Gen band. What valuation did you exit at? We're you the founder and ceo Anurag?
 - A: I raised $65M for BayPackets which was acquired by GenBand. The valuation of BayPackets by Genband was not made public, Genband was a start-up at that time and the start-up stocks which the BayPackets investors received did very well when Genband shares became liquid after it merged with Sonus. I was the founder of BayPackets and the first CEO. We hired a professional CEO but I was at the company during its full duration at various CXO levels
- Q: How is the value of company determined?

- Q: Great product and much needed to eliminate the 2FA inconvenience. But, what is the plan to overcome client hesitation for relying on this product for a financial transaction? Accuracy is needed at near perfection for financial sector adopting this and what is your track record with fraud detection?
 - A: The current SMS OTP 2FA solution requires requesting an OTP, getting the 6-8 digit via SMS and then entering them into a separate screen or window. Multiple steps and delays which happen when the OTP is not received in time makes it an undesirable experience. Turant 2FA Voiceverify will prompt to speak out a sequence of digits and successfully verify the person in real time. It is similar to facial ID but using voice ID which makes it ubiquitous with no reliance on internet or smartphone device. It is a lot less cumbersome, and the high level of accuracy are the key reasons people prefer this. We have patent filed solutions for fraud detection and elimination which makes the solution highly fraud proof.
- Q: Congrates for the success so far. I am interested and have few questions. 1. Is this not been tried before? Who is your competitors. How are you better than them? 2. Do you have any revenue now? what is revenue projection next few years. 3. Why are you not trying in US first? Does that mean demand in US is not as good as India? 4. Do you have any patent on the technology? 5. Valuation-how do you get 6M at this stage? Do you have any VC or high profile Angels on board-who are they?
 - A: Great questions. We are in the process of filing patents for the work we have done to improve accuracy to the point it can be used for financial transactions. That, along with us being language agnostic and the fact that our price is less than 10x are our key differentiators. 2. Who are your competitors? How are you better than them? A few competitors are: Voice based verification: ID R&D, Tonetag, [24]7.ai, Nuance (MIcrosoft) - these provide the traditional Voice Verification solutions. Turant professes a much higher accurate solution for which Turant is filing patents. Voice based payments: ToneTag - they provide a special terminal with the merchant which communicates over audio (probably non-human hearing range) with the end user phone. Not sure how this works with feature phones, line phones, walkie talkie etc. The requirement for merchants to have a special audio device is an impediment which Turant does not have. Turant solution does not need any special device with the merchant or with the user other than having a voice phone. Partners: MissCallPay: This company is providing Voice based payments and planning to use Turant Voice verification solutions to assertively identify the end-user. Key differentiators - We offer the highest accuracy in Voice Biometric, much higher than the competitors’ Patent being filed for that differentiator - Our solution is agnostic to the user's language and terminal device (feature phone, landline, GSM, LTE smartphone, walkie-talkie etc.). - No need for the internet or smartphone. - Services offered under SaaS model. - Requirements for instantiating assertive positive Identification across all the industries, can be met by the Turant solution and tested and verified by many customers and partners. 3. Do you have any revenue now? Yes. We have acquired our first paid customer and are presently engaged with 30+ opportunities in India, Malaysia and Indonesia. Other opportunities including one in Africa are being evaluated. 4. what is revenue projection next few years. We are expecting to have Annual Recurring Revenues (ARR) of over $3Mn in 2 years and about $10Mn in 5 years. ** Please note these are forward projections and no guarantee of any sort is being made on these target revenues ** 5. Why are you not trying in US first? Turant founders have started companies earlier which initially target the US exclusively and have successfully sold B2B solutions. The cost of customer acquisition in the US is high and not sustainable with the current burn. The US market will be targeted when Turant has more meat on its bones and many successful deployments. Markets in Asia where they are involved are already encouraging us with differentiated use cases which apply to the US market. 6. Does that mean demand in the US is not as good as India? Asia, especially India is going through a high growth especially in FinTech. In that high growth competitive environment, Turant is able to provide a differentiated solution for the lending companies to be able to scale customer acquisition and control costs. Asia market is a low hanging fruit for Turant. After Turant has built sustainable revenue in Asia (India, Malaysia. Indonesia, Singapore…) then, Turant will target the home market of the USA. 7. Do you have any patents on the technology? We are in the process of filing the patents. 8. Valuation-how do you get 6M at this stage? Turant via WeFunder is offering A SAFE investment. The maximum valuation shown is not a valuation set for the company but a ceiling to the valuation which investors get based on the valuation in the next round. If the next round valuation is higher than the ceiling, investors in this round will benefit with valuation set to the maximum valuation shown. If next round valuation is lower than the ceiling then the current investors will get the lower round, less the discount. These terms are available on the WeFunder site, and this response is just a brief explanation. If there is a conflict between this explanation and the terms mentioned on WeFunder site, then the WeFunder site terms prevail. 9. Do you have any VC or high profile Angels on board-who are they? We do not have VCs or High Profile angels on board as they require investments before they will spend the time to be on board. A few VCs did express interest but were unable to be on board due to the fiduciary duties they have to the current Limited Partners in their VC fund. We are planning on VC rounds in the future. We have an industry luminary ex-exec of Cisco and currently a VP at Palo Alto Network on board. We are also adding other industry experts to the advisory board.
