## Story
At Tersho, we're creating a new all inclusive, no-code BI tool that lives in the spreadsheet. So far, we have achieved a monthly recurring revenue of $1.5k from 9 dashboards in 3 weeks. Our top-tier engineers have impressive educational and professional backgrounds, with one founder becoming the youngest-ever CS graduate and the other the successful creator of BookMySlot. We want to widen access to business intelligence by making tools easy to understand, even for non-tech people. Widening accessibility to these tools also reduces dependency on data teams, freeing up more time. As Tersho is incorporated into spreadsheets, adoption is easy as users won't have to learn a new interface.Demo VideoSuccessful rental furniture company Pabio switched to our platform and found that not only does Tersho provide simple access to business intelligence, we are also 4x cheaper and require fewer clicks to get the job done. With a strong team of experts and $1500 MRR in the first 3 weeks of operation, we are rapidly tapping into a $16B market opportunity. Our plan to build the most-used BI tool will be achieved by introducing no-code add-in for the two most popular spreadsheet platforms, AI-powered dashboards and finally automated insights. We believe are on track for $100K MMR in the period of just over 1 year, with 130+ companies on our waitlist including Microsoft and Volvo.

## FAQ
1. **Hello Apoorve, I'm so excited about this as an excel user. Your pitch is the best I've ever seen, so quick to the point about what the product is and what problem is solves. Quick question, I keep trying to convert 2 million companies with 100 employees at $20 per user per mon...**
 - Hey Meredith, thanks for the kind words! The calculation is this: 2.2M companies * 30 people within each company using it * $20/user/month * 12 months = ~$15.84 B The global BI adoption rate is 25-30%, meaning that a company of 100 employees will have 25-30 people using a BI tool. And since we're targeting even larger companies with >100 employees, we have conservatively estimated 30 people. Hope that's helpful!
2. **Thanks for your explanation! I understand now. Do you plan to expand this and make other tools, not just BI? I work in supply chain operations and have implemented several inventory/ERP systems. A lot of stuff can be done in excel and implementing new systems can be expensive ...**
 - BI is the biggest category we have identified till now, so we are focusing on it first. But with the tool creation kit we are building on top of Excel, it's certainly possible that we extend it to other categories like inventory management (and ERP)!
3. **Is this a US or Indian company? Looks like Delaware incorporated here but is revenue recognized in the US?**
 - It's Delaware headquartered with a subsidiary in India. Revenue is recognised in the US.

- Q: Hello Apoorve, I'm so excited about this as an excel user. Your pitch is the best I've ever seen, so quick to the point about what the product is and what problem is solves. Quick question, I keep trying to convert 2 million companies with 100 employees at $20 per user per month into 15 billion and I"m failing to get the same answer. Could you please write out the math of how you came to 15 billion? I see the equation in your first bullet points but don't understand what "30 seats" means.

- Q: So, I have seen dashboards like this done natively in Excel before (with slight effort). What is the business differentiator? In addition, major competitors like Power BI have plans that are significantly cheaper.
- Q: Is this a US or Indian company? Looks like Delaware incorporated here but is revenue recognized in the US?
 - A: It's Delaware headquartered with a subsidiary in India. Revenue is recognised in the US.
- Q: Thanks for your explanation! I understand now. Do you plan to expand this and make other tools, not just BI? I work in supply chain operations and have implemented several inventory/ERP systems. A lot of stuff can be done in excel and implementing new systems can be expensive and time consuming to do, so I'm just wondering if there are some other applications for your specific tool creation skillset.
 - A: BI is the biggest category we have identified till now, so we are focusing on it first. But with the tool creation kit we are building on top of Excel, it's certainly possible that we extend it to other categories like inventory management (and ERP)!
