## Story
Dementia is debilitating. Seniors living with Alzheimer's and dementia frequently develop stressful and unsafe telephone habits. Without teleCalm, caregivers often take away their loved one’s phone - further reducing their loved one’s independence and increasing their isolation. We’ve built and proven a better solution.teleCalm’s unique phone service keeps seniors safely connected with family and friends, while automatically blocking troublesome calls. Your investment will help expand service and tackle this growing need at scale. There are over 10 million seniors living with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Caregivers of aging seniors, especially seniors with dementia, often must address senior isolation, elder fraud and increased emotional and financial family stress - most due to common telephone problems.Late-Night CallsDementia often affects a senior's sense of time, resulting in disrupting family and friends with calls during the middle of the night.Repeated CallsMany seniors will repeatedly call a family member, sometimes over 50 times in an hour. This is just another result of dementia and the destruction of a senior's short-term memory. False 9-1-1 CallsEven as dementia causes seniors to forget phone numbers of family members, they always seem to remember how to call 9-1-1. Some calling over 25 times a month. The reasons can vary by individual; some because of confusion or anxiety, others because of loneliness.TV Shopping and Donations SitesImpaired judgment and diminishing comprehension associated with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias can also lead to unusual impulse purchasing. Often times resulting in obsessive home shopping purchases and donations to causes a senior sees on TV.Telemarketer and Scam CallsWe all put up with the ever-increasing scam calls we receive, but seniors living with Alzheimer's are easily swayed by these and telemarketer calls they receive. While we don't answer calls you don't recognize, this doesn't work for those with dementia. Many are eager to answer any call coming in and think everyone is truthful.Caregivers often feel compelled to take away Mom or Dad’s traditional phone, removing their independence, increasing their isolation.teleCalm puts an end to ALL of these call problems for seniors and their caregivers. The teleCalm service evaluates each incoming and outgoing call, deciding whether the call should be allowed, blocked, or re-routed.Only incoming calls from trusted contacts ring on the senior's telephone. This protects the senior living with Alzheimer's from all telemarketers and scam calls.Outgoing calls can be filtered as well, to block certain calls to unwanted destinations or to limit calls only to family and friends. teleCalm's Quiet Hours and Repeat Dialing features help for those seniors where late-night and repeated calls are the problem behaviors as a result of their dementia. For seniors living in Memory Care communities who continually make unnecessary 9-1-1 calls, teleCalm is able to re-route these calls to an-onsite nurse station instead.teleCalm’s patented phone service is oftentimes the only way seniors can continue to use a phone, enabling them to live at home longer and retain as much independence as possible.Solid Business Foundation - Customers Trust teleCalmCaregivers value teleCalm subscriptions. When living conditions need to change, most families move the teleCalm service to the senior's new residence; even in Assisted Living and Memory Care.teleCalm is being used nationwide, generating over $34K in monthly recurring revenue from more than 740 subscribers. Organic growth has steadily exceeded 7% month-over-month growth, despite COVID-19.Caregivers value teleCalm's benefits. This is based on our insights from over 2.4 million calls we have already processed for our customers. While all of our subscribers love that we block 100% of the telemarketer/scammer calls for their loved ones, over 80% of them also subscribe for other pressing reasons: outgoing call problems. Bottom Line: We stop all the bad calls, both incoming and outgoing -- which is about 62% of the total calls per month.Customers say that teleCalm provides the best option for families coping with dementia.teleCalm solves caregiver’s challenges like no other alternative. While these other companies do offer some scam protection, they aren’t able to block 100% of the bad calls like teleCalm can. They also cannot offer the most important features that solve the problems for seniors and their families, like our patented service does.teleCalm only allows trusted contacts to ring through – That along with our other features, provides 100% protection from bad calls for caregivers and their loved ones.Continued growth will make teleCalm an increasingly attractive acquisition target - especially for companies that need access to teleCalm’s IP.Patent coverage protects our unique offer. teleCalm already has 3 granted patents in the US and Europe -- the two largest markets in the world for our solution. This positions teleCalm perfectly to license our technology to major providers in Europe and to partner with major companies in the US.At the heart of our service is the Caregiver app. Family caregivers subscribe to the phone service for their loved one, replacing any existing phone service provider. Using the Caregiver app, family caregivers are empowered to stop late-night calls, repeated calls, and inappropriate 911 calls -- All while protecting seniors from deliberate and targeted fraud. And it's not just limited to scam and telemarketer calls. teleCalm blocks ALL unwanted calls, including that bad apple in the family draining grandma’s savings and outgoing calls to home shopping and donation sites. teleCalm provides a vital and easy-to-use lifeline for seniors. They don’t have to learn a new technology or try something they feel uncomfortable with. They simply use their home phone or cell phone, and know that when the phone rings, it is someone they want to talk to, not someone trying to take advantage of them. At a high level, here’s how our service works…Calls with trusted contacts pass straight through, while suspicious calls and know bad guys are blocked immediately. Using our Caregiver app, family caregivers can prevent ALL the bad calls – even problem calls the senior makes due to their dementia.End Result => Delighted teleCalm Customers ● Keeps Seniors connected with friends and family ● Reduces Caregiver Fatigue and family disruption ● Prevents financial loss ● Stellar customer satisfaction scoresProven Value Add / Proven Product Market FitCaregiver Customers Love teleCalmI spent tons of time researching possible solutions and there is absolutely nothing even close to doing the things your product and service does – JeffteleCalm is great. ## FAQ

 - Hi Geoffrey, great questions. Yes, part of our use of funds is to finish and launch our dementia-friendly cell phone offering so that we can provide all the same benefits to cell phone users that are currently offered to our landline customers. As for your patents question, our granted patents can help to deter copycats, but our greatest advantage is our combined knowledge of telecommunications, the senior living industry, and deep understanding of caring for seniors with cognitive issues. 2. **Reminder: As a special incentive, if you invest $1,000 or more prior to October 20, you will receive a gift certificate for 1 year of teleCalm Caregiver service (a $600 value). This was in the email sent to me. I see on your page that it says $1000 investments Will only get a ...**
 - As a current customer, you received our exclusive launch offer for active customers. With your $1000 investment by October 20th, you will receive a 1 year gift certificate instead of 3 months.
3. **How are you developing senior living clients? In short, how can you scale quickly and how would you price your offering for senior living/memory care facilities?**
 - We have found it best to focus on B2C, marketing to the family caregiver directly. They are the decision makers with the largest pain point. Our solution benefits the caregiver just as much as it benefits the senior they are caring for -- no matter if the senior lives at home or in a senior living. 46% of our customers (family caregivers) have subscribed to our service and taken it into senior livings across the US. They become our trusted advocates in the senior living, allowing us to reach ...
4. **We are wondering about the special incentive for investing $1,000.00. We have not received any email regarding the gift certificate for a year of telecalm service. We are still paying for this service and was wondering how long before we get an email.**
 - Hi Susan, those special incentives for current customers are going out this week.
5. **How do customers respond to the $50/month price level?**
 - This is a great question Craig! Customers feel it is quite reasonable and often times cheaper than ordinary landline service. Our $50/mo price tag is 'all-in', whereas many others may advertise a lower price, but are much higher once their taxes and fees are added in. Plus, we ACTUALLY solve their problem calls, where others do not.

## Q&A
- Q: What is the average length of use by a Telecalm customer?
 - A: Thanks for the question, Lisa! 86% of our subscribers are still active after 12 months. We are currently averaging 18 months, but we have numerous subscribers over 2 years so far. Most families keep our service until their loved one is no longer able to use a phone. Expanding our offering to teleCalm Mobile will bring subscribers onboard sooner, which will further increase or lifetime value per customer.
- Q: How do customers respond to the $50/month price level?
 - A: This is a great question Craig! Customers feel it is quite reasonable and often times cheaper than ordinary landline service. Our $50/mo price tag is 'all-in', whereas many others may advertise a lower price, but are much higher once their taxes and fees are added in. - Q: How are you developing senior living clients? In short, how can you scale quickly and how would you price your offering for senior living/memory care facilities?
 - A: We have found it best to focus on B2C, marketing to the family caregiver directly. They are the decision makers with the largest pain point. Our solution benefits the caregiver just as much as it benefits the senior they are caring for -- no matter if the senior lives at home or in a senior living. 46% of our customers (family caregivers) have subscribed to our service and taken it into senior livings across the US. They become our trusted advocates in the senior living, allowing us to reach out to the senior living as a warm lead. We then provide brochures that they can use for other family members. While we continue to focus our marketing resources on B2C, our B2B strategy is to partner with Internet/TV providers who already work with the senior livings, taking advantage of their existing sales channels and infrastructure.
- Q: Are there any plans to roll this out to mobile device users? It seems that this service is targeted toward those who still have landlines. Additionally you mentioned that you have patents but I imagine it would be costly to enforce legally; what stops a larger carrier from copying your idea?
 - A: Hi Geoffrey, great questions. This dramatically raises the bar, far beyond simply copying our technology. Landline + cell phone solutions, combined with our patents and telecom/senior living/caregiver experience, positions us to be a great partner with larger carriers such as Spectrum, Consumer Cellular, and ADT.
- Q: how do I increase investment amount
 - A: You should be able to do that from your refund her page just by adding another investment. However there’s only a few minutes left.
- Q: Hello. I see that you are still accepting investments but the latest SEC filing I can find says that the close date should have been 2/19. Can you tell me what the new close date is?
 - A: Hi Scott. Yes, we have extended the fundraise through April 19. What other questions can I answer for you? I'm happy to set up a call as well and tell you more.
- Q: 580 subscribers in tiny at best, no ? How does your concept, your company reach the masses; word of mouth needs to come into play here.
 - A: Thanks for your question, Seth. We currently have grown to over 660 subscribers. We do get a lot of 'word-of-mouth' advertising, including; family members, Alzheimer's Association, numerous police departments, attorneys, social workers, support groups, churches, doctors, and senior livings. We also advertise on Google, Facebook, YouTube, and now commercials on Hulu (https://youtu.be/sIJAS524vNQ). We are providing service in over 240 senior livings, where family members have subscribed and brought our service into their loved one's apartment. Many of these senior livings are recommending us to their other residents now as well.
- Q: Hi Tavis - Thanks for providing this service. Certainly fills a need. A few questions if I may. First, regarding the planned cell phone development - how much funding is needed for that and if funding is secured, how long would it be until it is deployed? Second, are there any issues with getting your service installed at eldercare facilities (that is, does it conflict in any way with their own phone services)? Last, I see that you are currently focused on B2C, but was surprised by your potential channel partners. Can you elaborate a bit on why internet / TV providers instead of say, focusing on some elder care companies with multiple locations and providing them with a slice of the revenue stream? I would think the service would also benefit them only 2nd to the family. Thanks in advance for your responses and best of luck with the service and fundraising!
 - A: Hi Stu, thanks for the kind words and excellent questions. For teleCalm Mobile development, we forecast a cost of $85K for a stable version 1 release over a 5 month period. Raising $170K should provide enough to cover the full development budget and other required expenses. Our current landline-style service is being used in over 250 senior livings around the US. We do not touch the telephone wiring in the senior living and do not use their internet. In most cases, we provide our teleCalm Wireless Adapter that works over our AT&T cellular backbone. In some cases, we use a personal highspeed internet connection that a resident's family already has in place. For your channel partner question; yes there are opportunities to work direct with senior living communities, their operators, and property owners -- which we already do with some properties. One of the challenges is that 98% of senior living communities don't provide phone service to residents, but instead just provide families with the phone number to the cable/internet provider that services that building -- which the family member pays extra and directly to that cable/internet provider. Historically, telephone service is not one of the benefits the senior living chooses to manage themselves. By building a future relationship with a cable/internet provider (such as Spectrum), this allows us to provide teleCalm's patented Caregiver service through the cable provider who already has the relationship with the communities. I welcome the opportunity to discuss this with you further, if you would like to schedule a call/Zoom --> https://meetings.hubspot.com/tavis4.
- Q: I need to learn my percentage of ownership for an employer-required outside investment disclosure. Can you help me?
 - A: Generally, your percentage of ownership will be the [Number of Shares] divided by the total shares issued (which was 3,606,958 at the launch of this campaign). You can find your Number of Shares listed on your Subscription Agreement.
- Q: Do you intend to pay a dividend on the preferred shares that we would be buying?
 - A: Hi Craig, we will certainly consider dividends once we are profitable (~2000 subscribers), however our ultimate goal is to grow the business as rapidly as possible to position ourselves for acquisition within the next 3-5 years, which will result in a much larger payout for our investors.
- Q: We are wondering about the special incentive for investing $1,000.00. We have not received any email regarding the gift certificate for a year of telecalm service. We are still paying for this service and was wondering how long before we get an email.
 - A: Hi Susan, those special incentives for current customers are going out this week.
- Q: Reminder: As a special incentive, if you invest $1,000 or more prior to October 20, you will receive a gift certificate for 1 year of teleCalm Caregiver service (a $600 value). This was in the email sent to me. I see on your page that it says $1000 investments Will only get a credit of 3 month which is $150 and not $600. I find this confusing. If I invest $1000 before October 20, will I get a Gift certificate for 1 year of teleCalm Caregiver service (a $600 value?) as stated in the email?
 - A: As a current customer, you received our exclusive launch offer for active customers. With your $1000 investment by October 20th, you will receive a 1 year gift certificate instead of 3 months.
