- 1.) What's your timeline for starting payments to investors? Beginning of year 2. 2.) Your map shows breaking into west coast & Colorado in 2017, the two highest density craft brew areas in the country, why not trying less challenging states first? We can and may do so. However, our initial research shows a strong demand and affinity to the brand in those territories. 3.) How dependent are you on your brew master for your current selection and creation of new styles? We are blessed with a...
2. **Did you pay back your original investors?**
 - Ricardo, our original investors where given equity in exchange for their investment in the brewery in the form of membership units. So, the answer to your question is no. Thanks for the question!
3. **Hi there Martyn. There is a sizable amount of goodwill on your balance sheet, did you acquire something? Also, what is the IP you are valuing? Thanks much - Marc**
 - Hi Marc, yes we did. We actually purchased an existing brewery through an asset purchase from the previous owner. The business had been operational for several years before this event and at one time had been quite popular. Assets included, a 40bbl brew house, three 40bbl tanks, CIP system and a bottling line. The IP consisted of both copyright and trademarked items but also recipes, business methodologies and existing sales and distributor relationships. If you would like to discuss specific...
4. **From the chart above, it looks as though total sales for 2016 are on a slight downward trend compared to 2015. Is that true, what are the reasons for that, and how do you intend to correct it?**
 - Mathew, Yes with the exception of our Evel Ale, sales where off slightly compared to 2015's growth. 2016 has been a busy year and one of transition. We added new people and new equipment, we reengineered our brewing process and we had several key changes to our distribution network. This led to some delays and interruptions in supply. We are also in the process of changing our packaging and format. (16oz. to 12oz.) This is something our distribution and retail partners lobbied diligently for ...
5. **Okay, I'm looking at the revenue share information and I want to make sure I'm on the same page. Let's take the early bird bonus, for instance, with the 2x revenue sharing. It states that investors will receive 100% of their principal and an additional 100% on top. Does that m...**
 - Hey Marissa, yes, you have a solid understanding of the model. If you invest $500.00 we then use 10% of the profits to pay you back the $500.00 plus an additional $500.00. Simple and straight forward, a return off the original investment and a return on the investment. That's the limit. Great question, thank you!

## Q&A
- Q: Any updates? I haven’t seen any updates for a long time. It’s 12/11/17. Happy Holidays! Thanks! Chris
- Q: It appears that the Evel Ale beer is still being produced and sold at the Evel Pie restaurant in Las Vegas. Also there are posts on untapped that show cans of Evel Ale are being sold at HEBs and Bars in Austin Texas.https://untappd.com/SouthAustinBrewerySo who is making and selling this beer?
- Q: Wefunder has to do a better job with this. They need to put some kind of penalty in for not providing at least yearly updates and if the company is dissolved making sure we get the necessary documents to write the loss off on our taxes. Wefunder gets paid but we get stuck with the BS. I don't mind taking risks but it is being offered on Wefunders platform. And I feel that Wefunder has some obligation to us!!!
- Q: We got screwed on this investment. The funding round closed and the brewery disappeared, along with all of our money.
- Q: Can you confirm you just stole everyone's money? Thanks!
- Q: Any updates available for investors? Last one I saw is from a year ago.
- Q: What is going on with SAB? The tap room was abruptly shut down and I've seen info written somewhere that SAB was looking for a new location and plans to reopen, however, investors have not been updated or given any information about operations. The SAB facebook page has no info or been updated. It appears nothing has been going on since last summer. The website is no longer available.
- Q: Brother Richard, who shared homes with their mother in Berkeley, Calif. and Santa Fe, N.M.; sister Monique Does of Berkeley.
- Q: Let’s find this clown and call the cops... brother Richard, who shared homes with her in Berkeley, Calif. and Santa Fe, N.M.; son Martyn Buffler of Austin, Texas; daughter Monique Does of Berkeley;
- Q: Wow, this is really disappointing.
- Q: What the FUCK is the deal here?!?! Why does wefunder permit companies to take the cash and run?! i get that as an "investor" there is always the possibility of failure...but that's VASTLY different from you just giving all of our money over and hoping for the best with zero repercussions
- Q: Did you just steal everyone's money?
- Q: When will we see the return on our investment
- Q: Martyn is on LinkedIn and his profile says that he ended with South Austin Brewery a year and a half ago. Bryan Wallace is also on LinkedIn. If you want to contact either of them that may be the way to go. The money we all invested is likely lost. The question is whether the money was, in fact, used as promised. I'm not saying it wasn't - maybe the business just didn't go as well as planned and they just don't want to notify us. We do not have any rights to any money made on assets that were liquidated. This is likely a tax write off as a loss, and that's it. I hope I'm wrong. Hopefully anyone who ever decides to do business with the people here will take into consideration how investors here were treated.
- Q: Can you clarify what is going on with the brewery? No explanation on closing to those of us who invested?
