## FAQ
1. **Are these utilizing Auracast?**
   - Yes - we will be supporting Auracast as one of our connectivity options.
2. **Bragi tried this back in 2015... what makes you believe you crack this egg? Especially since many operating systems already started to integrate similar technologies?**
   - Bragi had a bold and ambitious vision. Something I agreed with and supported. They were unable to fulfill all their goals because the technology platforms available to them at that time were inadequate and were on a trajectory that wasn't going to deliver. The landscape is now different and the market leader has given us plenty of clues about what is needed. We don't see Bragi as a competitor, more of a potential partner. 3. **Greetings, I am VERY INTERESTED in SONICAL. It sounds fantastic. Let me ask you this, though: how will you deal with competitors trying to do the same thing as you? Do you have a moat or some other strategy for this? ......... Thank you!!**
   - Hi Tom, Yes, we have built a strong and well protected position for our technology. By targeting products, technology providers and end users outside the typical consumer market we have created a unique offering and a new product category.

- Q: Bragi tried this back in 2015... what makes you believe you crack this egg? Especially since many operating systems already started to integrate similar technologies?
  - A: Bragi had a bold and ambitious vision. CosmOS is built for a different product category, for different applications and is heading in a different direction. But there is more to it than that, that I will explain in more detail… First, let me provide some context. For us to know what to build today, we have to live in the future. We learn very little from someone that builds or uses cheap earbuds to listen to music streamed over Bluetooth from Spotify. Instead, we need to talk to the people that aren't using today's devices and figure out what they are lacking. What are the mission critical features and applications that are needed to make a profound impact on a person's life? People like Billy, a young lad with autism that wears headphones all day long to help him deal with anxiety, or Sarah a music producer who has hearing loss, or Pearson a teenager with uncontrollable epileptic seizures, or George a helicopter pilot with chronic tinnitus, the list goes on. We can also gather clues from the market leading device, the Apple Airpod. Their products use their own custom silicon as they realised off-the-shelf Bluetooth chips were never going to meet their needs. Instead they built a very advanced, tiny, low power computer. Once we understand this we can work backwards to define what a next generation device needs to do. - It will not be "Bluetooth first", it will be a computer with multiple forms of connectivity - It will not be "music first", in the same way the smartphone is no longer primarily used for making phone calls, the new devices will do more than play sounds. - It will not be "fixed feature", it will use downloadable apps selected by the end user after they buy the product The operating system is critical to meet these needs and there is now a new category of silicon chips that can support this, you just won't find them listed as Bluetooth earbud processors. Who is the OS for? Some companies build an OS for their own chips - this is understandable, but is very limiting and is a barrier to developers. Others build an OS for a specific type of product - again this prevents growth. The most successful OS solutions (Windows, Android) are built for developers - this is what we are doing with CosmOS and we have already created the largest ecosystem of developer partners. We like to remind people that no one is as smart as everyone, meaning no single company can move fast enough to build all the different applications themselves. By creating an easy to use open platform we have attracted the attention of the world's best talent across a vast range of applications. CosmOS creates a Blue Ocean opportunity, a competitive vacuum. CosmOS enables the end user to access the essential features they need, without the product makers being a barrier to adoption. Our plugin partners have invented technologies that would have been considered impossible just a few years ago. The only way for end users to access and experience those technologies is via an open computing platform.
