## FAQ
1. **1) how do you plan on scaling script readers and viewing analysts? 2) What is the training regimen for new readers or viewing analysts? 3) Does Slated directly invest in the qualified films on the marketplace or is it just their investment partners?**
   - Great question Eugene. Since we first launched our Script Analysis product in 2012 (under the Spec Scout banner), we have scaled the business by roughly 5X. Now, we now handle close to 100 paying submissions per month (close to 300 individual coverages) for veteran filmmakers, studio executives, and aspiring screenwriters alike. To do that, we needed to build a well oiled system of vetting and training new story analysts. Of course, we always hire candidates who have prior experience as story...

   - Hi Leon, Yes, we do participate in the performance of profitable films that our EP team has helped package and finance. The more films Slated releases, the more that modest net position will be meaningful over time. We more than doubled released films YoY in 2022 and have over a dozen films already slated for release this year. More interestingly, Slated recently launched a sales/distribution department, which earns gross sales fees on films we have set up for distribution. Unlike net points,...

## Q&A
- Q: Does Slated make any money from the profits of movies it helps get developed or is the primary form of revenue through the different services it provides? The revenue vs the profits/debt seem really off, as well as the amount raised vs the current cash on hand. Also, what are some of the ways you plan on growing your revenue streams?
  - A: Hi Leon, Yes, we do participate in the performance of profitable films that our EP team has helped package and finance. Unlike net points, sales fees don't depend on the film being profitable, as they are a percentage of gross proceeds. These new revenues are just beginning to hit the books and will continue to accumulate in perpetuity as those films are watched/rented/streamed over their lifetime. There is no question that building the infrastructure for the world's first online film finance marketplace required a meaningful initial capital expenditure. That's true for any company looking to build an AI-driven marketplace in a business as complex as entertainment and finance. Its also likely the reason we're the only film packaging and finance marketplace with industry traction. Those barriers to entry notwithstanding, Slated has seen enormous growth over the past year, most notably in our gross revenues. Last year, we posted the highest annual gross revenues in our company's history, which included 206% YoY growth in our film finance/sales revenues mentioned above. In January, we broke our company record for monthly analysis revenues. We have just broken that monthly record again, today. As of today, we have just set a new Q1 record for gross revenues and a new all-time quarterly record for analysis revenues. To your third question, yes, there are clear opportunities for future revenue lines relating to the platform. As an example, we have already specced out a premium subscription product that could delivery access filmmakers have long asked for at a modest monthly fee without taking any services away from our current, free-to-use version. The purpose of our Wefunder raise is to leverage our recent momentum to achieve profitability and continue fueling growth. It has taken the Slated team a lot of hard work to get to this point. Today, we can proudly say that we are the only filmmaker platform with 47 produced films. We are also closer to profitability than ever. Most of all, we are energized by our mission to continue providing much-needed transparency and access to independent filmmakers, not only in the U.S., but around the world. Thanks again for your question and your support!
- Q: 1) how do you plan on scaling script readers and viewing analysts? 2) What is the training regimen for new readers or viewing analysts? 3) Does Slated directly invest in the qualified films on the marketplace or is it just their investment partners?
  - A: Great question Eugene. Of course, we always hire candidates who have prior experience as story analysts, former studio executives, former agents, and/or working writers and directors. However, because our analysis process is more rigorous than other companies' (our coverage takes 4-6 hours per reader per script), new members of our team also receive direct training, which can range anywhere from 2 weeks to 3-months depending on each person's prior experience. New readers are assessed on the basis of their response to material, quality of their notes, quality if their writing, tenor of notegiving, scoring accuracy, and general adherence to our policies. To date, Slated's Script Analysis is the only coverage product proven to predict great films, as shown in a study that looked at the critical reception for over 200 released films that previously had Slated Script Scores. Slated is not currently investing in films directly. Slated's vetted investor community of 2,300 investor companies are matched to projects based on those projects' scores.
