## Story
(Note: the above tax benefits do not apply to investments in this round)When I started working in the alcoholic beverage business, I fell in love. I loved the energy, the dynamics, and the people. It's a fun business that makes a lot of money...What's not to like? When I was working with OTHER rum company, I met *********.He was consulting the company I worked for on some technical issues, while I was Brand Marketing Manager for a top globally recognized rum brand. ********** was a very important person in the rum business, and I was assigned the responsibility of coordinating his activities during his visit. We got to spend a lot of time together and we "clicked" immediately. After ******** met with the Rums of Puerto Rico Director, he understood "Rum Cover-Over"."Rum Cover Over" is a unique Federal Law that gives back a percentage of the Federal Excise Tax to Puerto Rico rum producers. Between and other manufacturing & tax incentives Puerto Rico is the most profitable place to manufacture rum in the world. That is the reason Bacardi, the #1 rum brand in the world is established in Puerto Rico.********* told me he had always dreamt of having his own rum brand, and we agreed to do it in Puerto Rico as partners. After a couple of meetings with investors we immediately realized we needed a Distillery if we wanted to get ARTESANO off the ground....that's how I met ******* *******.We met in a restaurant for lunch, both with our computers. I presented ARTESANO to ****, he presented his distillery and brand portfolio to me. ARTESANO needed a Distillery, and the Distillery needed a Sales & Marketing person. In that very meeting, we understood we could help each other. We got started on fine-tuning our plan, discussing go to market strategies, efficiencies, best business models and now...we come to you to help us get the fuel to make ARTESANO really happen. The funding we need is to purchase raw and packaging materials to raise finished product inventories. We need to fund our sales & marketing efforts to make ARTESANO an international brand early in it's existence. Since May 2024 Artesano is not related in any way to their former distillery."Como empresa puertorriqueña con muchos años de experiencia en la industria, nos enorgullece representar como distribuidora un producto artesanal, hecho en Puerto Rico. Ron Artesano es un proyecto que nos consta está hecho con mucha pasión y mucha ilusión. Ron Artesano cuenta 100% con nuestro apoyo ya que creemos fielmente en la calidad del producto y de la experiencia y entusiasmo de sus ejecutivos."Carlos Montalvo, Presidente y Fundador de Fine Wine ImportsThe above slide contains forward projections which cannot be guaranteed. The above slide contains forward projections which cannot be guaranteed.Note: above exit potentials are not guaranteed for Ron Artesano."As a leading figure in the Puerto Rican cocktail and Bar scene we fully support the efforts of Ron Artesano in creating a truly Artisanal rum. They've become an asset to the local distilling community by incorporating the use of copper pot stills in their production, not just following what has become the traditional method of industrial rum making for Puerto Rican Rum Brands. We believe Artesano will become a historic brand by showing the industry - locally and internationally - that Puerto Rico can make Pot Still Rums. We're eager to show the world what this Puerto rican Rum can do!"Leslie CofresiOwner - La Factoria (#54 Worlds Top 50 Bars 2022 / #12 North America's Top 50 Bars)Ron Artesano es una de las propuestas más apasionadas que he tenido la oportunidad de compartir. ## Q&A
- Q: ¡Saludos!
 - A: Hola!
Me dejan saber gracias
 - A: Hola Raul!
Jose

 - A: Hola Silvia!
- Q: As an investor, what do we get for a $100 investment ? Where in Puerto Rico is the Distillery?
 - A: Hi Michael, as an investor you start to get perks from $250+. However, you can still purchase a small piece of the company from $100, just not wit additional perks. Thank you for your interest!
 - A: The distillery is in Jayuya, Puerto Rico. You can see how to get there using Google Maps - Destilería Cruz / Pito Rico
- Q: Dear Mr. Munoz, I am happy to see the courage and entrepreneurial spirit. Any plans on making rum with Puerto Rico sourced sugar cane molasses? If not, why not? If yes, from what part of the Island? I see that for those investing before the $80K will have "a better term", what is that term? When will you have a new Letter of Intent? People might want to see those letters as a renewed interest to partner with your project. How can a potential investor obtain a taste of the test batches? I am traveling to Puerto Rico in December 2020 & would like to visit. Related to the COVID19 impact in the bar, clubs and restaurant industry, do you have a new SWOT Analysis driving a new marketing strategy? Will you be changing the brand name for the EU market since there is a highly confusing brand in Germany? Respectfully, Rafael Ruiz
 - A: Thank you for your kind words Rafael. Sourcing of locally produced molasses is an important consideration, but will depend on availability and reasonable costs. The "Early Bird" terms we offer present a $750k valuation, but after we achieve the $80k the valuation goes up to $2,000,000. With regards to the new letter of intents, we will present our finished products to those distributors by end of 2020 or start of 2021. If you are visiting Puerto Rico in December, I suggest you reserve your bottles and you can pick them up personally in La Destileria in Jayuya, where you can take a short tour and speak with the team. Our first bottles come out by mid December the latest. Yes, we have worked on how to go about the local market considering COVID and are working on deals to go direct to consumer as much as we can, but eventually bars & restaurants will open again, and we will be ready for that. COVID just slows everything down a bit. We will not change our name for the US market. If you would like to pursue a deeper conversation, please send us your email so we can coordinate & schedule a call. Thank you for your interest!
- Q: Hi, 1. Could you explain why your net profit decreases from 43% (2020) to 35% (2021) then decreases to 27% (2022)? 2. The three letters of intent were dated back in 2017, now it's 2020, how do we know those distributors maintain the same level of interest after 3 to 4 years? 3. Your core strategy listed in the deck is to target top bars and restaurants, but with the pandemic, most bars and restaurants are generating revenue at a fraction of their full capacity for at least another 6-8 months, doesn't this impact your revenue projection? Thanks.
 - A: Hello Helen, great observation. Our profit decreases because we are investing incremental amounts of cash to penetrate new markets, and you are not seeing it on our expenses, because they are not detailed in the deck. In regards to distributors, we are currently contacting all of them, and in the case of Puerto Rico, there will be a different distributor not because lack of interest, but due to the fact that our brand may cause a conflict of interest with a brand they currently distribute. We understand COVID has truly affected the bar & rest. and it may slow down our sales projections, yet COVID will not last forever, and this is not a sprint, but a marathon. We are currently working with smaller direct to consumer distribution companies in Puerto Rico to be effective in our outreach like Club UVA, UVVA app, RonPon, Brands of Puerto Rico amongst others, and we will be doing the exact same thing in other markets. Also, this very opportunity for crowdfunding is being shared primarily with industry stakeholders like bartenders and business owners so they can both be aware of the brand, and they get part of the action, so it lowers our entry to market barriers.I hope this answers your questions. Thank you for your support.Jose
- Q: Any new updates or company status for the Investors?
 - A: Sure! We released detailed an update recently here in WeFunder. You should have received it by email too.
- Q: Any new updates or company status for the Investors?
 - A: Hello Ricardo. We are currently working on a formal update for all our investors. The short answer: Many things are happening right now. 1. Looking for more production capacity, we are moving from Jayuya into other bigger distillery closer to San Juan. 2. We are in a process of redesigning our package to improve what we have. Areas of focus: Make more evident that the product is HandMade in Puerto Rico and homogenize all our packaging to improve brand recognition. 3. We are increasing our finished goods and our aging product inventory. 4. We are working hard to launch a limited release of a 2024 Artist Rum Series (in the process). 5. To get ready for our future, we are bringing new people to the team on the blending and brand education sides. 6. We may develop and start a new distillery tour experience in our new distillery before end of 2024. 7. We are expecting the approval of a new visitor center in Old San Juan. 8. We are currently raising more capital to make all I just shared possible. With regards to local sales, I will share a presentation so you see what has happened lately, but all indicators are very good. I expect we have our first positive year on 2024.
 - A: Hola!
- Q: Are you on the shelves anywhere in the USA (yet). I see you had another fundraiser, but haven't see anything arrive into the USA. I'm just following up on your work and my investment.
 - A: Hello...We are still not in US. We expect to start this year. We will keep all our investors posted.
- Q: How much common stock will I receive for each $1.00 of convertible notes purchased?
 - A: Hello! You would convert to Preferred Stock…not common At a $3mm valuation.
- Q: Is the 9% Interest Rate for life ?
 - A: Hello Adan! No. 9%apr is only until we pay principal and interest accumulated on the contracted period. I hope that clears up your doubts.
- Q: Saludos. Gracias y suerte
 - A: Hola Ángel!
