This is a new entity and new location for a business that has two other currently operating locations. Fair point about the yield. We were conservative with our projections, and it's possible we'll be able to pay back sooner. We also didn't project weekday lunch sales, and now think weekday lunch may be viable, so that should help for a quicker payback as well. Also, Wefunder VIP members receive a 1.38x payback. What construction has been done so far, and what are the major steps necessary for a 2026 opening?","answer":"Hi Taylor - Demo and core drilling scans have been done. Roughly about 2 weeks of a 20 week build-out. Long equipment lead times and needing to shift some of the core drilling after the scans has led to some of those delays. But the major delay has been due to securing the full construction loan (a SBA 7(a)). It was going to close just before the government shutdown, and because the government shutdown lasted so long, the process had to be restarted.
