Footwear designed for style and adventure

## Elevator pitch
When we couldn’t find the perfect adventure footwear for people like us, we set out to design it ourselves. Ridgemont is all about form and function. It's great quality, good looking footwear that performs when you're walking the dog or conquering the trail—but also feels comfortable enough to wear at work or out for dinner. We combine the best materials and construction techniques but with a modern aesthetic. Our mission is to move the outdoor footwear market forward to the 21st century.

## FAQ
1. **Hi, this is a very generous payback offer, especially for a young company that has a high quality product, shows nice revenue growth, and gets positive consumer feedback. My questions are simple: Could you describe the reason for the jump in short term debt, and the high COGS ...**
 - Hi Alan Thanks for the mail and your interest in Ridgemont. The reason for the jump in short term debt and high cost of goods sold were due to our previous wholesale model approach to bring the brand to market. This was expensive and involved national sales teams as well as national and international trade show attendance. In addition we invested in significant stock levels to feed the expected demand. Unfortunately the wholesale market has been slow to embrace our vision but the end consumer...
2. **How long will it take for you to pay back investors?**
 - Hi Leonel Thanks for the mail and question. This model that Wefunder have recommended doesn’t specify a timeline as the repayments are linked to the company's revenues. The faster we grow and generate revenue then the faster we repay the investor. Obviously it is pro-rata to the amount we raise. As an example if we raise $250,000 and based on our projected revenue of $800,000 for 2017, if revenues grow at 50% per annum then the loan will be fully repaid in 3 years. If we raise less and/or gro...
3. **When investing, do we get to pick the product ( shoes and shirts) that we get for free?**
 - Hi Tracy Thanks for the mail and the interest. For the shoes, yes you can choose anything that’s available on the website. For the shirts we were going to design and manufacture a special edition ‘Ridgemont Supporters’ T-shirt only available to our investors. Hope that helps and if you have any further enquiries please get in touch. Thanks
4. **Please define "net revenue" in case of this deal? A percentage on gross would have been much clearer to investors. Thanks!**
 - Hi Barnaby Thanks for the mail and the feedback. In this case 'net revenue' means revenue net of shipping and any sales taxes etc. I will speak to Wefunder about clarifying the text on the document. If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to ask. Thanks again
5. **Can you elaborate on your competitive strategy ? How are you going to beat the big players? How much is your traffic cost ? Is their any other advantage than cost effectiveness? What are you concern about competition? Can anyone copy your concept ? How strong are your patents ...**
 - Hi Pravesh, our competitive strategy is to offer functional outdoor footwear that is also fashionable. Something that, in our opinion, is not offered by other brands. Our aim certainly isn't to be cheaper than our competitors but to offer a great looking performance product with a good margin. In respect of trademarks, the Ridgemont brand is currently trademarked in 35+ countries, incl the USA, all executed through the relevant patent/trademark organisations and we add to it as we need to. Th...

## Q&A
- Q: Why have we not been paid back if you are still in business?
- Q: Hello Ridgemont,Any update on our investments? Its been 5 years since we invested and haven't heard anything back in a while.Appreciate you breaking the silence!
- Q: Many years have passed, but I am still yet to receive any payment from the revenue share. I am wondering what had happened?
- Q: When are we supposed to hear from the advisor group? I want to use the tax write off on this.
- Q: When is the next quarterly update? It should have been posted and with results and answers by now. I have not heard back from any of my past questions either.
- Q: I am wondering if we can get a meaningful update about repayments. I have perused the "update" section, my emails, and this site for the May 30th update. However it is now 4 months later and I am unclear about the updated timetable for repayment.
- Q: Any news on when the perks for the investors will be available?
 - A: Thanks for the investment. Apologies for the radio silence but we are still patiently waiting for WeFunder to give us the final list of fully subscribed investors before we write to everyone about the perks. However we can see that your investment has gone through and if you wish to choose your perks we can process your perks now. Please have a look on the website and make a selection and send us an e-mail at wefunder@ridgemontoutfitters.com and we'll get your perks processed. We have more stock arriving next month and throughout the year so if your size or colour choice isn’t showing you can obviously wait until a suitable time. Please also don’t forget to send us your t-shirt size for your Supporter tee too. We also ask that you send us $12 per pair for shipping. You can send to our PayPal at usweb@ridgemontoutfitters.com or we can take a card payment. I know it may seem trivial but as we have over x500 free pairs to send out it becomes a substantial cost if we ship them all for free too.
- Q: I think it's time for another update. There was a public notice of auction last December (https://www.dailydac.com/public-notice-of-auction-ridgemont-outfitters-inc/). But the store still appears to be online and selling products. What is going on? Is the company still solvent or has it been sold? Even if our investments are worthless now, it's time for an official update, so at least we can write it off.
- Q: I get sales emails for ridgemont all the time, so I know you’re still selling shoes. I have not been able to claim my perk of a pair of them and would really love some help with that please. I have tried emailing Wefunder@ridgemontoutfitters.com twice and never received a response. Any help would be greatly appreciated Mary Beth
