## Story
Revelation Ale Works was founded on the idea (the "Revelation") that we wanted to do beer and business differently. We started in our small town of Hallock, Minnesota, pop. 981 in 2017 order to help revitalize and improve our community. As of our 4th anniversary in February, we have helped raise over $40,000 for local causes! We also pride ourselves in being a local gathering place where everyone feels welcome. We offer a wide variety of ales and lagers as well as house made root beer and pizza. We are always open during the off-hours for groups needing a place to gather. Find Us in Over 240 Locations! From the beginning we have focused on distribution of our brews due to the small community in which we are located. Check out our beer map:We have grown from a 7 bbl system with 6 fermentation tanks to a 15 bbl brewhouse with 14 tanks and now distribute to over 240 locations in Minnesota, North Dakota, Wisconsin and Manitoba, Canada! We're Profitable! We became profitable in 2019 with over 50% growth that year. We maintained profitability through a difficult pandemic in 2020 and even managed a little growth! With the recent additions of accounts in NE Minnesota and Wisconsin as well as many other opportunities, the sky's the limit! We Want YOU!Revelation Ale Works has always been a community focused, high growth brewery and now we want you to own a piece of our dream!

## FAQ
1. **What are the investor perks for different funding levels?**
 - It is difficult to find that info on the site, you actually have to over the "Investor Perks" on a PC. Here they are: $500+ Your choice of a Revelation Ale Works Hoodie and Hat. $1,000+ $100 gift card for use at the taproom and at revales.com. $5,000+ A $250 gift card and lifetime 20% off everything in the taproom and at revales.com. $10,000+ A $500 gift card and lifetime 20% off everything in the taproom and at revales.com.
2. **I like what you have going on. I had tried to go to your menu and it said page cannot be found. I saw reviews where people said they love the food and like that you are bringing food trucks to the area. I see you say you make the food in house. That means you have food trucks ...**
 - Hey John - We have our beer menu posted here: https://www.revales.com/in-the-taproom We do make our own pizza plus have many food trucks (almost every weekend now until October!). It's definitely a fun way to get people out to the taproom. The numbers are a bit confusing, our minimum is $50k, which we are fairly close to already! Our goal of $250k doesn't necessarily need to be met. We have no plans of raising any additional at this time.
3. **I want to invest in Revelation Ale Works, but I don't understand how this works, and I don't see information on this page that helps, even when I clicked on "Investment Terms" on the right side of the page. Ryan clearly explained Max's investor perks question - mine is this: W...**
 - Thanks for the question! We think the business is worth more than that now, so you're investing at little discount of current value. We hope as we continue to grow, the value will also grow along with your investment and as mentioned above, there are a couple possible exit points if we become publicly traded or if we merge with another brewery. Happy investing!
4. **Kudos on all your efforts so far; seems like you folks have built a great brand. Curious how you plan to generate a return for investors, though. Since this business seems unlikely to pursue an IPO, are you planning to court acquisition from a larger company at some point down...**
 - Thanks! We are actually keeping the IPO idea on the table, which could generate a decent return eventually. We also would be open to a possible acquisition if it makes sense for everyone involved.
5. **What are the employee salaries?**
 - Great question. We range from $10+ tips for part time beertenders to $14 plus bonuses for full time. We have an absolutely amazing group of individuals working at Revelation Ale Works, and we hope to continue to reward their hard work by adding benefits and ESOP options in the near future as well as continued raises.

## Q&A
- Q: When converted into equity, what type of tax reporting/entity structure will each investor have?
 - A: Hey David - You will be a shareholder in Revelation Ale Works Inc.
- Q: What is the maturity date of the note?
 - A: Hey Tyler - Great question. The convertible note is a two year term and then converts to equity.
- Q: Kudos on all your efforts so far; seems like you folks have built a great brand. Curious how you plan to generate a return for investors, though. Since this business seems unlikely to pursue an IPO, are you planning to court acquisition from a larger company at some point down the line?
 - A: Thanks! We are actually keeping the IPO idea on the table, which could generate a decent return eventually. We also would be open to a possible acquisition if it makes sense for everyone involved.
- Q: Hi Ryan, In a previous answer, you said that the note would convert to equity at maturity. However, I read Section 2 of the convertible note contract in your Form C to say that the note will only convert to equity if you raise at least $1 million in a subsequent equity round. If you were acquired or didn’t complete a $1 million equity round, the most the note holders could expect to receive would be a repayment of their initial investment plus 4% interest. Can you clarify this point? If the intention is for investors in this round to receive equity at the note’s maturity, will the contract be amended to specify that? Thanks.
 - A: Hey Hayden - we have updated the "Convertible Promissory Note" to convert automatically after two years. It should be uploaded to the site soon!
 - A: Thanks for checking on this - sorry about the slow reply! We are working on clarifying this. It’s a process and I will keep you updated.
- Q: What are the investor perks for different funding levels?

Here they are: $500+ Your choice of a Revelation Ale Works Hoodie and Hat. $1,000+ $100 gift card for use at the taproom and at revales.com. $5,000+ A $250 gift card and lifetime 20% off everything in the taproom and at revales.com. $10,000+ A $500 gift card and lifetime 20% off everything in the taproom and at revales.com.
- Q: What is the interest rate on the convertible note? What triggers the conversion into equity?
 - A: The interest rate is 4%. We are working on clarifying the trigger - will keep you all updated!
- Q: I want to invest in Revelation Ale Works, but I don't understand how this works, and I don't see information on this page that helps, even when I clicked on "Investment Terms" on the right side of the page. Ryan clearly explained Max's investor perks question - mine is this: When I buy a share of a stock, I'm hoping the price of the stock increases, and receiving periodic dividends is nice too. How does my investment work here? I see on the bottom right, under "Investment Terms", we're betting Revelation will be worth more than $1.8M in the future. So, if it's worth more than $1.8M, then what? If it never reaches that value, then what? Can you please explain the structure of my investment? Thank you.
 - A: Thanks for the question! We think the business is worth more than that now, so you're investing at little discount of current value. We hope as we continue to grow, the value will also grow along with your investment and as mentioned above, there are a couple possible exit points if we become publicly traded or if we merge with another brewery. Happy investing!
- Q: I like what you have going on. I had tried to go to your menu and it said page cannot be found. I saw reviews where people said they love the food and like that you are bringing food trucks to the area. I see you say you make the food in house. That means you have food trucks and food inside your locations too correct? If so I wish more did that. Had both coveted. Lastly, I noticed your raise is far from your minimum. Some companies just give investors a refund. One i was going to invest in but they were so far from minimum assumed investors would just get a refund. Wefunder charges right when you submit amount. They ended up letting the investors in ,accepted then and went on to raise about another 500k after campaign. Are you going to do the same?
