## Elevator pitch
Recoup Fitness creates innovative recovery products trusted by professional athletes without the professional price tag. Our first product is the patented Recoup Cold Roller that helps recover sore muscles and painful injuries. Simply place the ball in the freezer for two hours and enjoy up to six hours of cold massage. Our 2-in-1 design philosophy sets us apart, which is why Olympic medalists, world cup soccer players and seven NFL teams are already customers.

## FAQ
1. **Hi, you have an impressive product and a large niche. Your margin is great and suggests that it wouldn't take much for you to become profitable. Those are positives but they also lead to my concern: That kind of potential financial success makes me shy away from SAFEs. There m...**
   - Hey Alan, Thank you for your question. We plan on raising Series A in January. We need this round to ramp up our production, as we are gaining interest in Europe, Canada and Mexico. Also, the manufacturing cost to produce the three products we mentioned plus a hot and cold foam roller is a lot of upfront costs. Since we already have distribution set up we need to run all these new products in high quantities. For all of these reasons, this is why we need to Series A, converting the SAFE.
2. **Have you considered going the direct response tv marketing route? I think this product would be a prime candidate in which to explore this avenue. I would suggest looking up Launch DRTV. They have a good track record of producing DR spots focusing on marketing professional ath...**
   - We considering this option. Recoup Fitness will be featured on HSN. Based on these results we can make the correct decision on DRTV
3. **Your answers to my questions gave me confidence that it's okay that this is a SAFE. Thanks for the thoughtful and transparent answers. My wife is a former personal trainer and she thinks it's a great product - could be big in the Plantar Fasciitis market alone according to her...**
   - Our patent covers the utility of the ball and handle. The biggest win is the unscrewing part of the handle allowing the ball to out for the two in one functionality. We tested about 5 or 6 different ways to take out the ball and all failed in one form or another, either losing free rolling, the ball would fall out or not move (when we tested magnets). The other products are patent pending
4. **Hi, the product seems very interesting and a product I am definitely interested in investing. It is great to see you already have major teams and even athletes involved. Since your client list is pretty small, what have other teams you have approached said. The 4 million dolla...**
   - As soon as we were ready to bring our product to market we actively targeted professional athletes and training staff and sent out demos to multiple professional sports teams in order to get proof of concept from the highest levels of athletics. After just one sample they purchased for the training staff. If professional athletes and their trainers approved of our product and would use it we believed that anyone from semi-professional athletes to non-athletes would be able to use and enjoy ou...
5. **Hi, as others have stated thank you for your thorough answers. I have a few questions - are your investors from your first round reinvesting? If so do you know what percentage have reinvested? What percentage of your family members and close friends have invested? Do you have ...**
   - Thank you for your compliment and for you questions. With regard to your first question, the answer is yes. We were able to obtain permission from some of our existing investors to disclose that they have also invested in this crowdfunding round on WeFunder. With regard to your second question, that information would be confidential. With regard to your third question: Recoup does not have a written salary cap for employees or the Founder. At this time the Founder is being paid far less than ...

## Q&A
- Q: Not sure if anyone has noticed, but the recoup website no longer exists. I have been unable to find any information about what became of the company. In addition, WeFunder has stated that we invested directly with the company so we are to reach out to them. Not sure if anyone has any ideas.
- Q: I reached out to Matt Hyder and it sounds like he is no longer with the company and the acquisition is complete. Not his words but it sounds like he has washed his hands of it and feels no responsibility to update the people that invested in him and his company. In complete abdication of any attempt to keep the reg CF investors informed by Matt or whoever is now in charge, there has been no updates and we as investors have been left completely in the dark about how this affects our investments.
- Q: I'm in...thanks again for the thoughtful answers. This looks like a great opportunity - very fair valuation cap, excellent market, great press, and generous perks. Best of luck moving forward.
- Q: I spoke with Matt. The company that acquired Recoup is Jogan Inc. (https://joganinc.com/). I have reached out for information, but have not heard back.
- Q: We previously received an update about a pending acquisition in which Recoup would be acquired. This update was in October of last year. Do we have an updated status of said acquisition in terms of timing of close or any other pertinent information?
- Q: We haven't received an update on the company for over a year and a half. Can we please get some information as to the current status of financial performance and future plans?
- Q: Matt, wants going on with the company, haven't seen an update on here in almost 2 years? Still going strong or are there issues?
- Q: Any updates available on the state of the company?
- Q: Hey all. My updates went silent. Haven’t seen anything lately on new products I see there is a Cryosleeve now. Do investors get a discount?
- Q: Matt,i invested in November of 2017 and was promised perks of the cold roller and hot roller for my investment. I did receive the cold roller, but here it is nearly March of 2020 and I am waiting for the hot roller. I have not received any info about this for more than a year. Please let me know if this is going to happen or if not send me the cyrosleeve instead of the hot roller.
- Q: Hello, I just wanted to take a moment to to congratulate you for inventing a great product and thank you for giving me the opportunity to invest in your company. As a CPA who does desk work, I only usually just walk about 5 miles when I want to exercise. However, I just spent the weekend cleaning the gutters on my house and climbing the ladder all day both days. All the muscles in my legs were so sore it felt like I had been doing squats all day at the gym. Then I remembered that I had my sample cold roller so I tried it on my legs and it really does work! Thanks again!
- Q: You answered a previous question that you are offering shares, from the paperwork, it looks like you are offering Future Equity (SAFE), please clarify.
- Q: Anyone here any updates from Matt or the acquiring company? Seems like we got hung out to dry here
- Q: I sent matt an email asking for an update matt@recoupfitness.com
- Q: This seems to be his LinkedIn profile: https://www.linkedin.com/in/matt-hyder-73684695 Maybe we can all message him for answers or a contact at the company who supposedly acquired Recoup? I've got no ideas. Seems like a total loss. Wefunder surely will be no help.
