Increasing the connection between brain and body Neuroscience & immersive tech

## Elevator pitch
Radix Motion combines neuroscience and immersive technology to strengthen the connection between brain and body. Meu, our prototype, is the first social platform based on 3D human movement data. Players can share their 3D moves and play asynchronous movement games or create their embodied emojis and share them as gifs anywhere. Meu uses Radix Motion's Movement Data Channels, uniquely bridging VR and mobile AR. We are building an API into our tech to transform the spacial computing industry.

## FAQ
1. **Hi, I already invested - your team is so strong, this technology so well-timed, and this presentation so well done I had to jump in. I may do more but I have questions first: 1. What is your moat - IP that you have now, IP you are pursuing, proprietary knowledge, etc., and how...**
 - 1. Our IP includes, compression algorithms for movement data, servers configured for storing, indexing and retrieving movement data and unique compute shaders that let us render high quality 3D graphics on phones. Thanks to our conversation I decided to move hastens our patenting, we will be submitting a patent pending application by the end of the July with the help of patent attorney Graham Pechenik (https://www.linkedin.com/in/gpechenik/). He saw me speaking at a conference and loves what ...
2. **How does this compare to SnapChat offerings? Also, the android app link does not work.**
 - Great question, both Snapchat and tiktok have come out with filters that interact with your body and movement but both these companies are focusing on video as a media. What ever you create gets flattened into 2D and then sent or shared. Meu creations stay in 3D and remain interactive by using our 3D movement data channels that none of these companies have created. You can catch your friend's kisses or actually dance with them in 3D. I've also rechecked our android link and it is working: htt...
3. **Hi Sarah, I have a Oculus Quest. Though admittedly don’t use it that much. Does MEU work with Oculus Quest yet? Thanks, Kevin**
 - Yes our custom built shaders work really well on the quest giving us beautiful trippy graphic. To use on the quest you need to download the side quest app first:SideQuest: https://sidequestvr.com/#/app/327We are in constant negotiation with Oculus around getting into the main Quest store.
4. **It sounds like you will not be patenting your work?**
 - Actually, after talking to Dr. Alan Jacobson who has now come on as our lead investor we decided to move hastens our patenting, we will be submitting a patent pending application by the end of the month with the help of patent attorney Graham Pechenik (https://www.linkedin.com/in/gpechenik/). He saw me speaking at a conference and loves what we are doing so is giving us a massive discount! :)
5. **Do you intend to pay a dividend (post-SAFE conversion)?**
 - As we grow we will continue to have an in depth connection with our investors to understand what they want. When we start accruing revenue there are different options of revenue share/dividends that we would like to explore. Our goal is to align the incentives and well being of both our users and our investors to create a healthy company.

## Q&A
- Q: It sounds like you will not be patenting your work?
 - A: Actually, after talking to Dr. :)
- Q: Great answers, love it. I'm investing more.
- Q: Hi, I already invested - your team is so strong, this technology so well-timed, and this presentation so well done I had to jump in. I may do more but I have questions first: 1. What is your moat - IP that you have now, IP you are pursuing, proprietary knowledge, etc., and how will it prevent another group from copying you? 2. Can you give me a clear picture of how this differs from someone just sending a video of themselves - if I receive a "movement" from a friend, how is that better and different than receiving a video of that movement? 3. Can you describe your runway in terms of cash needed - what do you truly need to raise along the way including this round? Thanks!
 - A: 1. He saw me speaking at a conference and loves what we are doing so is giving us a massive discount! :). I still believe the most valuable IP is the user's content. Once a user has their child's cutest dance or their partner's 3D hug on our platform the likelihood of them jumping ship to a different platform is much lower. If we reach the higher tier of investment or start hearing about other companies moving towards utilizing 3D movement data in similar ways we might change our strategy. As for our future IP we are planning to use the movement data (with users explicit consent) to train machine learning models that can transform our interactions with technology (imagine if siri or alexa could actually understand your body language), these models are an IP that others would not be able to replicate without the large data sets that we are collecting. 2. 3D data is totally different then video because you can interact with this data in your 3D environment. You can catch the kiss your friend blew or feel a vibration when you actually give them a hi five/hand shake. You can even embody your dance teachers virtual avatar and dance "inside of them" to learn their moves. To fully understand how unique and different this data is I'd recommend you try out our prototypes or join one of our live events. Regarding the runway, me and Matt are totally committed to keep building Meu even if we don't raise any money. This is the future we believe in and we won't give it up. Our deck shows how we would use the funds over the next 8 months to mostly fund the rest of the team and be able to stick to the deadlines and insure we continue to be the leading company in this domain: 2 months (50k) to improve UX & finish social networkfeatures (importing contacts, sending groupmessages)- 3 months (100 k) to implement added features -(different avatars/users 3D faces/ movement feedbackcontrol panel)- 3 months (100k) to Build API. My hope is that 9 months from now we have a large enough user base so we can raise a series A, which would allow us to increase the team to include a machine learning expert along with building the features required to monetize the app and api which will require a security specialist.
- Q: Hello Sarah, I find your project interesting. I have some questions about your app that I've been wanting to ask you for a while: 1) As I understand, you are trying to make of MEU a popular app for sharing with friends. As you may know, Instagram is a company owned by Facebook that has a monopoly on social media. It is well know that they like to copy the code of diverse apps such as Snapchat or even now with Tik Tok and integrate it to Instagram, so they steal users from them and people lose interest. If you are a company that has just started, what is the guarantee that MEU will not suffer the same fate as the big companies I mentioned? 2) It could be because of the fact that English is not my native language, but I find the vocabulary you guys used to explain how could MEU be utilized as a health method too technical. Could you guys explain with simpler words for me? I would really appreciate your answers. Thank you!
 - A: 1. Thank's Josue, We are working with an expert IP lawyer (Graham Pechenik) as our legal advisor helping us patent what we are building to incentivize companies like FB or snapchat to license our software development package or IP instead of stealing it. Also the big companies will never be as fast or as creative as our team. 2. One a basic level sending or receiving a message in Meu increases people's movement and their calorie output which increases health. On the deeper technological level Meu is based on detecting high level movement features, jumping, opening your body and more and this technology can help in creating health trackers and even AI that understand our body. Our current project with Redligh Holland will be a pilot for that using our technology to test if we can identify physiological changes in people who microdose while maintaining their privacy.
- Q: Why is your application compatible with so few Android devices?? I have 3 Android phones and an Android TV device, and NONE of those 4 are considered compatible with Meu.
 - A: Meu uses the latest AR technology that is only compatible with phones from the last 2 years (samsung 8 and up) and Android operating system 7.0 and up. You might be able to upgrade your operating system if your phone is compatible. Current android version is only able to receive and interact with 3D Meu's and we are working on a version that will let you record from android as well.
- Q: Congratulations on surpassing the minimum! I am still quite surprised that this company has not raised quite a bit more. Due to COVID, a lot of therapists like me have been using videoconferencing to provide individual, family and couples' therapy. And since insurance companies have seen how effective that mode of treatment can be, and how well it can help us serve people who may be isolated and/or have difficulties coming in to the office, we're seeing a strong move toward having video-based therapy be fully paid for even after COVID. Imagine how much easier it will now be to get that reluctant spouse to therapy, or to have one child seen by a therapist without having to find childcare for the other kids, or be seen yourself without having the stigma of walking into a therapist office and potentially running into someone you know. Most of all, you can choose the perfect therapist even if they don't happen to work anywhere near you! But the thousands of therapists who are making this move need tools so that that closeness and depth of therapy is still created and maintained. Technologies like what Sarah and Matt are doing have huge potential in this space, and this is just one niche they can pursue!

I've also rechecked our android link and it is working: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.meu.ar Android app can only receive messages for now, we are testing a new technology that will hopefully allow us to bring the iPhone app capabilities to Android even sooner then we hoped.
