## Story
At our company, we spent a year interviewing and working with 300 hundred of our early adopters of cosplayers, gamers and geek content and event creators to create a platform where people feel supported in exploring their interests online.QuirkChat is a social video and collaboration platform for geeks and hobbyists that emphasized community moderation and community building. There are 3 main features to the streamlined update for our app: Quips, Podchats and Squads. QuipsMembers can create 15 second collaborative video responses to user generated topics to voice their opinions and combined 4 quip responses to share on other platforms. For example, if I wanted to give my opinion of Why K-Pop is better than country music, several other users could also chime in with a video response.SquadsQuirkChat has added all the tools for community organizers to take the connections they’ve made elsewhere on the app or on the internet and create channel chats for closer connections with like-minded individuals. Business ModelOur business model is direct to consumer and in-app microtransactions. Similar to other gaming centric platforms, users can buy digital goods or tip their favorite creators with “Snacks”. For math, 1 qoin is $0.03 USD and Snacks cost between 35-250 qoins. These are already actions that users are familiar taking on adjacent platforms like Twitch and Discord.Competition, Financials and Exit Strategy*Projections in charts above are not guaranteed.Niche online spaces are the future and are positioning ourselves to be the platform of choice for community builders and candid geek fandom conversations If you would like to learn more about our company and support us while we build a better social network for the current and future generations, please download our app.

## FAQ
1. **Will you be doing a reg A?**
 - Hi Chris! We are doing a Reg CF for this round.
2. **What’s the purpose of “My Quirk Code”? :)**
 - During comic con season, users could scan each other's Quirk Codes instead of having to exchange phone numbers. We later saw that a lot of people would post them on Instagram to ask their followers to add the on our app, so we adapted it for this. It's definitely in a process of evolving the more we monitor what actions our users are taking! One idea we have is potentially working with conventions to allow users to scan their codes for payments at vendor's booths, but we will see if it makes ...
3. **Do you have a verification system on the app for creators/influencers to be verified? If you don't have a system, might want to do that. And, can you verify those of us that invested? Let's gooooo**
 - Hi Joseph, thanks for the suggestion. We didn't add badges or verification to our current version of the app, because then we'd have to create a system of who gets verified and who doesn't. With our current version focusing mostly on friendship, it would probably detract from the app. With that said, we'll possibly have badges after we add Quips and finish rebranding. If so, investors will be one of the first to know ;)
4. **What are your revenue goals for the next 5 years? I want to have an idea of what kind of growth you are envisioning for the company...**
 - Hi Leonardo, thanks for the question. In 5 years, QuirkChat will have conservatively 50 million MAU (for comparison, an adjacent company with similar audience, Discord has 100 million MAU after about 5 years). We will monetize through microtransactions through the app and potentially subscription (somewhere between the $4.99-$9.99/month range). If we can monetize 10% of our monthly users and get them to spend $5 monthly, we will be around $300 MM annually. We will also strategically work with...
5. **Hi Bee, any plans to try to grow your user base in Asia. The pricing models you are thinking about would be great plus the obvious population advantages.**
 - Thanks for the question, Frank! We are already building up our partners in Japan, Korea and Thailand thus far. We are focusing on North America at the moment until we grow a solid base here and learn more about international regulation.

## Q&A
- Q: What are your revenue goals for the next 5 years? I want to have an idea of what kind of growth you are envisioning for the company...
 - A: Hi Leonardo, thanks for the question. We will also strategically work with some of our current partners, such as HBO and Warner Bros for strategic paid partnerships.
- Q: Congratulations on reaching the minimum goal!
- Q: Hi Bee, Your app is interesting, as I am apart of a few social groups and can benefit from the vendor use opportunity as well. How will you get people to do a $5 subscription when there are other similar apps you can use for free? Would you offer 30-90 days free use to gain subscribers? Have you considered paid advertising for companies/organizations through the app to reduce your subscription cost?
 - A: Hi Ashley, thanks so much for the question so that I can clarify. Our app is absolutely FREE to use. We use microtransactions such as tipping, virtual goods and subscription, similar to Twitch, YouTube Gaming or even something like Patreon where you can tip and subscribe to your favorite creators or Squads (groups put together by the community). For example, if you had an online community and decided to create a Squad, you may decided to charge a $2 subscription for premium content/features or decide to have a "tip jar" where members who love your community can tip at will, or sell a digital Squad badge, etc. The gaming community is used to these types of microtransactions. As for advertising, it's not something that we ever want to depend on, especially with the current regulation issues Facebook and the likes are experiencing. Though, we have worked with brands like DC Comics, Crunchyroll and HBO on strategic campaigns. Thanks again!
- Q: How long will your investment round last?
- Q: Hi Bee, any plans to try to grow your user base in Asia. The pricing models you are thinking about would be great plus the obvious population advantages.
 - A: Thanks for the question, Frank! We are already building up our partners in Japan, Korea and Thailand thus far. We are focusing on North America at the moment until we grow a solid base here and learn more about international regulation.
- Q: What is the value around these snacks users purchase to give other users? Is snacks some form of in app currency? Is there some benefit of sending or receiving snacks?
- Q: What’s the purpose of “My Quirk Code”? :)
 - A: During comic con season, users could scan each other's Quirk Codes instead of having to exchange phone numbers. We later saw that a lot of people would post them on Instagram to ask their followers to add the on our app, so we adapted it for this. It's definitely in a process of evolving the more we monitor what actions our users are taking! One idea we have is potentially working with conventions to allow users to scan their codes for payments at vendor's booths, but we will see if it makes sense after COVID.
- Q: Is this company still in business? I haven’t gotten any updates in years!
- Q: Have any updates for your investors? it's been a while...
- Q: Hi Bee Law, I trust you are safe and well. I'm looking for info on the last update of teh company. Bless
- Q: Are you still looking for investors?
- Q: Are there more recent numbers on the amount of active users since we're heading into Q2 of 2021? Also, have you tapped into any quirky influencers to help push their followers to QuirkChat?
- Q: Why don't you have a "Lead Investor" like other listings?
 - A: Hi John. Our Lead Investor has been updated and has his LinkedIn on his profile. Tim has known me since I started the build in a hacker house while in SF, so he's pretty familiar with our mission. Have a great weekend!
- Q: Do you have a verification system on the app for creators/influencers to be verified? If you don't have a system, might want to do that. And, can you verify those of us that invested? Let's gooooo
