We currently manufacture and coat special LED light bulbs with our proprietary patent pending Super-Oxygen technology coating, creating essentially a new type of LED light bulbs. These light bulbs, when turned on, greatly reduce pathogens in the environment such as bacteria and viruses. They also greatly reduce mold, mold odor, tobacco smoke, and pet odor. Pure-Light Technologies is a 12+ year old small startup company located in Rigby, Idaho that has invented and recently patented several new Breakthrough technologies and products. - Q: Hello, I am just curious to how things are going? Has there been any advancements since last year and have we seen any growth? I saw a news report a few months ago on a big city school system that was using a technology like "Pure-light" in their school busses. Something like this in East Idaho would be a great move forward.
  - A: Update: We have finally received all 4 of our patents, have designed and built manufacturing equipment that can produce over 3 million Super-Oxygen bulbs a month, have over 50,000 bulbs in inventory---soon to be over 100,000, and we have just started a national marketing campaign with tech guru Kim Komando, #19 Radio talk show show. I also have a brother who has a minor in chemistry who has helped. We tried a whole lot of different things during those years. We didn't have much money but I believed that it could be made into something. I am an "idea" guy with enough belief in my ideas that I just kept at it. So we finally developed a proprietary formula that was working incredibly. Finally, our in-house (garage) experiments/tests had done well enough, and my Solar Energy company was doing well enough that in 2017 I left my son to run the Solar Company, and I went full time with Pure-Light. I borrowed people from my solar energy company to help with Pure-Light. We started a very small scale manufacturing/production at that time. We test-marketed the bulbs in several local stores and people really liked them and started talking about them. We finally had enough $$ (sales) and encouragement that we got some lab tests to show what we had developed and the lab tests confirmed what our in-house experiments demonstrated. In fact, the lab people at the largest lab in the US (EMSL) told us over the phone when they reported the results, they had never seen such technology before and they were blown away. (boy that was an exciting time.) WHY THE MLM? In late 2017 Some customers from a local store dropped by the office one day and said they loved the bulbs (they were amazing) and wanted to share them with some friends and make some money. They had been old Shaklee (sp?) distributors and had a friends list of about 5000 people and wanted to get overrides. They asked...Could you make this so that we could do overrides? Well, we said we could try... and so that started us marketing the bulbs in a MLM format. The MLM took off in Nov of 2017 and went crazy in the beginning of 2018. People loved the bulbs. But, the MLM fizzled after about 5 months because there were no monthly continuing sales. A person would fill their house with bulbs and they would last 5 years. I had thought to overcome this problem and invent or come out with a new product every couple of months to have something else people could buy, but some inventor friends told me to not do this. So by the end of 2018, we terminated the MLM experiment. Also, during this time a manufacturing company (Curtis Mathes) had stiffed us a lot of money on bulb orders. Then in early 2019, I had to take over my solar energy company as my son left. By then I had let all of my PLT employees go except for 4 and almost all of my solar energy people. (2018 had not been a good year for my solar company.) Then in 2019, I started becoming very ill to the point that by the end of 2019 I was near death and no doctor or specialist could figure out why. All of the tests always came back normal. Finally, in an emergency room that I was rushed to in late 2019, they figured out that it might be my gall bladder...though I had no gall bladder symptoms. They had a specialist there who finally diagnosed it correctly after a couple of weeks (a septic gall bladder) and on Feb 2, 2020, he took it out. I immediately started to recover so that by March 2020 I was back working 10-14 hours a day. I then hired someone to run my solar energy company and in March I went back to being full time with Pure-Light. I had enough monies then (the solar energy company was doing well, and also Pure-Light) so that I hired consultants to get us ready to do a Crowdfunding campaign. Also, had enough monies and had developed the formulas/products to a point that we also began the filing process for patents on four products/formulas. Kasey Chang didn't do his homework. He was just trying to do a hit piece...and, he wasn't aware of what we had developed and were using it for. We were using it in a new way with a new formula. Also, I refer you to our lab studies page (over 100 studies) which demonstrated how tremendously the product worked, both historically and then with our own lab studies with our new proprietary formulas. Of course, that was our invention, not somebody else’s invention. “Furthermore, Titanium dioxide, TiO2, was ALREADY used in LED bulbs as encapsulate material to allow maximum extract of light. It’s NOT a new invention as Pure Light claimed. It had NOTHING to do with cleaning the air. They were using TiO2 as a white pigment film on the inside of their bulbs. Not like what we were doing. Again, it was our intention to use it in a different way, a way that had not been used before. Our coating is NOT encapsulated in the glass. It is on the OUTSIDE of the bulb. Our invention works, and works extremely well. Please refer to our independent lab studies and the literally hundreds of testimonies that we have about how well and how fast it works. Now, concerning having our lab tests and our findings, etc. published in scientific journals for the world to see? The problem is that it takes money to do that. Someday, we will get to that, but right now we thought we had better use our very limited funds to file for the patents and expand production and marketing. We are doing the Crowdfunding to raise the money to take things to the next couple of levels. We believe that within a couple of years, once we have monies to tell the world about our inventions/products we will become a household name throughout the globe. The bottom line, is that after 3 years, $1.3 million in sales, almost 100,000 bulbs sold to almost 8,000 customers including schools, assisted living facilities, homes, businesses, etc. our return rate is less than 0.3% and our approval rating is 99.9%. We have found that if people hear about the bulbs and what problems they solve, they try them. Then usually in a week or so they order more for the rest of their house...because they work so well. AND even better, to our amazement, most of our sales are from Word of Mouth... friend telling a friend about our bulbs because we have very little monies for advertising.   - A: 1. Just go to the website and order. www.pure-light.com 2. Latest update on the company: INVESTOR NEWS: 1/21/2026 1. Remember, the $12.5 million investment into PLTG is part of a $300+million package of investments being handled by one of the largest law firms in the US. Big international (new) transactions like this take a long time to setup because these law firms are very careful and precise...and therefore very slow. (and they also like to add up their hours). 2. Update from the legal firm in NY is that the contracts have been finished, all the updates completed and is pending review/approval by the final independent 3rd party auditing legal team, expected to be completed this week. Then that review and the contracts will be sent to the insurance firm where they will issue the Risk Policy... which will take another couple of days. Then we will receive our contract and initial draught of monies of $4 mil. (the minimum that we must take.) After that we can pull down another $8.5 million if we want it.
