  A: No, there will be product placement and ads on the app, so there are multiple revenue streams.

  A: Tech startup valuations are always difficult. We based this on first year download projections.
- Q: Are you able to collect geographical information when photos are submitted? Building that database would be as valuable as the identification.
  A: Yes, we have geographical information and a map highlighting habitat location for each species that is displayed on the results page, along with other information about the species. The database is something we've been compiling for almost 5 years, and I would think that it is incredibly valuable.

  A: I've been working on PlantSnap since 2012, and didn't launch Earth.com until October 2016. The two business are way too different to combine. Also, there is no way of knowing how much traffic PlantSnap will drive to Earth.com, because there is no requirement in the app to click through to learn more about the plant. Most people will probably be happy with the information given inside the app about each species.
