Regarding auto-pilot, it is actually quite easy to install for Pegasus due to our configuration. However, in order to suit the market needs and enter the market more easily than our competitors, a manned aircraft is the way to. This is an advantage to Pegasus as all existing experienced helicopter pilots can begin commercial flights for us once we enter the air-taxi market. At the same, the lengthy process of regulatory approval, reflects that government and the public are not yet ready to take on the risk of self-flying eVTOLs. On self-driving, we need to investigate further if such technology is actually needed for Pegasus customers. It is destined to be a feature in future generations but we need to be certain on the timing. Lastly, there are certain design drawbacks of Lilium, which makes it unsuitable for Pegasus, especially for our use case. The most efficient type of propulsion is to move a large amount of air slowly (Pegasus), rather than moving a small volume of air quickly(Lilium). So in a market where it is critical to provide true ability for commercialization, carrying more people more efficiently, Pegasus should be a the forefront of it. Since Pegasus is already using a hybrid system for power, we do understand battery systems, as soon as energy density is high enough for VTOL flight, we can make a switch instantly. Before that, IC is still king. We leverage that to fly further with less need for infrastructure as well. At this moment, it is all about who can enter the market faster with familiar/proven technology and capture market share.
