# Nicholas Cator

Nick’s focus has always been on investing in or working with brands in the FMCG, education, e-commerce and healthcare services sectors. Nick is passionate about disruptive brands, leading teams and empowering entrepreneurs to build their vision. A mix of investment & operational roles over the past 20 years led him to start his own entrepreneurial journey. Nick initially moved to Singapore to open Verlinvest’s Asian office where he successfully deployed over $500M of capital in India, South-East Asia and China over 4 years. Nick started his career in London and New York in leveraged finance and private equity. Nick is Anglo-Belgian and holds a Masters in economics from the University of Louvain La Neuve in Belgium and has followed Executive courses at Insead and Stanford.
