A new way of communicating for the deaf and hard of hearing

## Elevator pitch
MotionSavvy is a company that enables interaction between the deaf and the hearing without the need for a 3rd party interpreter. The companies product, UNI, was developed by four deaf RIT engineering graduates with first-hand experience of the problem. UNI is a SAAS platform that uses standard mobile devices and a gesture recognition sensor to interpret American Sign Language (ASL) in real time. This provides a simple solution that is available 24/7 without a costly 3rd party interpreter.

We are currently building the rela...

   - Hi Jeff, technologies that do not incorporate the facial expressions of the deaf individual are not going to be accurately translate sign language. Facial expressions in sign language can completely change the meaning of the sign as it is signed in real team. Face expressions can be utilized for example to determine emphasis. In American Sign Language their is no direct translation of very happy ( you would just sign happy with your facial expressions being extremely happy). This is why as de...
5. **Hi team, does the invested money correspond to a share in the company? If i invest x amount of money do i own certain shares?**
   - Hi Michael , we are utilizing a convertible note round. A convertible note corresponds to the promise of shares ( often with a discount ) on a priced round in which you would get equity. Often times the cost of a priced round to do small purchases like this of equity makes it not worth it. A convertible note allows you to get equity when the value of the stock ( equity ) is much higher. Think of a convertible note as a fancy loan, in which, instead of us paying you back with interest it will ...

These individuals will purchase via our website , and we will ship the finished product to them!
