## FAQ
1. **Is there a backup plan in the event you are unable to open a brewery in Medford?**
   - Hi Zack - In short, no. We will open a brewery in Medford but if we don't raise enough for the big build out we will buy equipment and start it out on a smaller scale. Our minimum is $60K before the fundraisers is 'live' At that stage we'll buy a 3 barrel pilot system that we will be able to use commercially if we raise more but not enough for the full build out, we will top up the funds with a conventional bank loan.
2. **Can you be more specific about the possible location of the brewery in Medford?**
   - Not really at this stage. All I can say is we have a great location that we have had an architect / builder look over and give us a quote for the build out in West Medford with high visibility but have not signed a lease yet as there are some more details we would need to nail down, its our fall back position as I would rather build it in Medford Square.
3. **Is there a timetable for these returns and is there anything holding you liable for these returns in the event of default or failure?**
   - Hi - There is not a timetable for returns. The returns are paid back from 5% of the total sales so the more we make, the faster its paid back. As for liability, as long as we are in business we are liable to repay the loans. I would advice looking at the Wefunder 'Risks' section. Please keep in mind it is a risk to invest and the reason the return is so high is because of that.
4. **With a $625K requirement in capex and working capital, how much do you plan on financing through debt, owner equity, and investor equity (including WeFunder)? While your financing plan is probably none of my business :), I am more interested in who gets paid first through the ...**
   - Hi Oscar - The agreement we have with Wefunder is to pay investors back from 5% of revenue, there would not be a change to this.
5. **I see you're anticipating a 1/20 opening but other breweries in Everett and Somerville had quite long gaps between when they announced and when they were able to open. What do you anticipate being the main challenges in sticking to the 1/20 opening date?**
   - Hi Ashley - The biggest challenge I can think of would be construction timing and equipment installation.

## Q&A
- Q: Do you have a place to build the brewery/taproom yet? If so any permits done?
  - A: We are very close to signing a lease... We will make an announcement as soon as its finalized
- Q: Can you explain why sales went down from 2017 to 2018? Also will you be paying the 5% of revenue starting 3rd qtr or only after the new brewery is built.
- Q: How often to you send a check or direct deposit to investors? Weekly or Monthly?
  - A: Hi Marcus - You should take a look on the wefunder terms, but I believe its every quarter
- Q: Any plans of doing a mug club at the brewery? Special investor mugs??
  - A: Hi Taylor, We hadn't thought about that but its a great idea. We'll look in to it.
  - A: Thats a great idea and one we will look in to.
- Q: I subscribe to an email list that covers stocks, oils and oddly enough equity crowd funding. They sent out a review earlier today and was curious so came to take a look. I like the concept and the area (used to live there) and lord knows they could use a local brewery. I invest in these from time to time but my concern as pointed out on the review website http://mvpstockpicks.com/medford-brewing-company-equity-crowd-funding-review/ is why did you not get financing from a bank vs here? What happens to your projections if you don't raise enough to build out? I see mention of a bank loan to top off so why not just go that route to begin with. If I can get what I feel are reasonable answers which gets my money back in three years vs 11 I may be in for 10-20k
  - A: Hi Peter - Thank you for reaching out. We decided to use Wefunder rather than a bank for a few reasons. We believe in our community and we want local people in the community to be part of what we're doing. Once up and running you need customers and you're more likely to visit a local brewery that you've invested in rather than another location on the High Street. We're building this with an investment from our friends, family and people who believe in us, this is a huge motivator for us to make sure we succeed rather than paying back a bank. As for the build out, we have enough already invested to get a small brewery going, please also keep in mind we have a rapidly expanding distribution with one of the largest distributors in New England. As for repayment I cannot promise you we'll have you paid back in 3 years, is it possible, of course, can I guarantee it, no… The repayment projections that are being quoted are also based on a 3 year revenue forecast and only 2 years of an operational tap room
- Q: We've been receiving periodic distributions, but no tax statements. What portion of the distributions are return of principal and which portion is return on principal/investment returns? Accountants are asking....
- Q: Hi Nick, I have not received any information on payback or situation oranything. Please check your records on my email and get back to me. scaramouche1970@aol.com Name is Javier Ayala. Would like details. Thank you.
  - A: Hi Javier - We've been making repayments and you should have received one in March, we're going to make another payout in the next couple of weeks. If you've not received anything then please reach out to Wefunder as they do the distribution of funds after we send them
- Q: I believe in you guys and I want to continue to help, is there any opportunity to increase my investment?
- Q: Where can I see my investment revenue and how can I retrieve it?
- Q: Hi, I invested a while ago and haven’t gotten a check, a beer, or anything but a shirt a while back. I know the pandemic has hit everyone hard, but I’ve gotten no communication from you all on what is going on, and with these struggling times, I was hoping to have some ROI or at least a six pack of beer to get through it. Is there a website or email list that I just am not aware of? Thank you!
  - A: Hi Tara, We have been communicating through Wefunder to all our investors, if you're not getting them... The quick update, we had architect plans drawn, loan secured and were ready to sign a lease on the brewery then Covid hit so the plug was pulled. We've taken a hit on our Keg sales but can sales are holding steady. We made one dispersement that Wefunder was / is supposed to transfer to you all ( It was not a lot) but something went weird in their system and they are working on fixing. We are currently working on finalizing a new location and are knee deep in the financing side of things, but again, Covid has slowed all that stuff down to a crawl. We hope to have some solid news soon. Bottom line...we are still working on getting the brewery built, up and running and hope we'll have done so by late Summer / early Fall.
- Q: How is Medford Brewing Co doing?
  - A: Hi Jason,Hope you're staying healthy and well. We're chugging along. We think we might have found another great potential location... but like all things, its moving slower than we'd like and we are bing very cautious. I am hoping to have some positive news to share about it soon.
- Q: Hey @Nick, in your last note you mentioned something about a distribution from WeFunder. What's the status of that? Not rushing you, just wondering if I need to do something with WeFunder to receive it.
  - A: Hey Trent, We did the wire transfer a few weeks ago so its now in the hands of WeFunder and I sent them a note asking for an update. Don't get too excited, its not a lot as we still have not built the brewery yet....but don't worry it will all happen. Hope you're well old chum
- Q: Can you give us an update on your progress? I am sue the virus have caused much problems with your deployment.
  - A: Hi Dan - Thanks for reaching out. Sadly no solid changes since the last update... I'm still working with the bank and we are still exploring all the location possibilities. That said we have a few new good things we're working and as soon as we know if they will work - We'll let you know.
- Q: Hi, guys, I live locally, invested a small amount a year ago, and am really looking forward to the new location. In the meantime, I'm always on the lookout for Medford Brewing's terrific beers (I'm especially a fan of the IPA, DIPA, and the new Phantom), but I've found via the website only 25 locations where this beer is sold. What am I missing? Thanks, and I look forward to more updates! Frank
  - A: Hi Frank - Ah Yes, I used to manually update the website but it got too much to do so I’m embarrassed to stay I stopped updating it. We are technically in over 250 locations now but only about 40 are active. Once I get the brewery up and running I give the website a makeover and work out a way to automate updating the locations. Speaking of the location, we are getting very close to the big announcement but unexpected delays keep on happening. On Tuesday we are reviewing all the construction bids and once done we will submit them to the bank, as long as they are happy we will then be able to make the announcement
- Q: how come your draft taps aren't double sided? only have your logo on one side.
