  A: The Non-GMO Verified Project does not mandate the Genetic ID for GMO testing that we do internally. We feel that products labeled Non-GMO Verified should be required to be tested, and not just asked to use "best practices" in not allowing GMOs into a product. We will continue to seek newer certifiers who will require testing for GMOs. We hashtag all of our social media with #nogmo and also teach about the perils of GMO crops in the feedstocks that get into products every day.

  A: None of our technology is patented, but the protocols and procedures are very detailed and must be followed with strict adherence as to when our compost is ready, 100% finished, as well as when during the production process it is in the perfect state for us to add the biodynamic preparations and cure the compost.
