Yeah, the COVID-19 crisis has slowed everything down, unfortunately, and we launched this campaign right in the middle of it. For comparison, we raised over $500k back in May just from friends and family (as you can see on the financial statements). These were regular people who knew me and understood the potential of Linkio. I’m sure the campaign will pick up speed pretty soon and we can keep our forecasts as predicted. To answer your other questions: I don’t think it would be wise to disclose future features at this stage. It doesn’t mean much that I say they will blow your mind as this is a fundraising campaign, of course, but keep in mind that we did raise over half a million when we had a pdf file with just drawings in it and that has to mean something, I guess. In terms of convenience, I wish you could try it yourself. It’s incredible! You don’t get “estimates” in Linkio, though. Providers make direct, full offers to you (most are all-inclusive with materials) and once you see one you like, you pay directly through the app. The provider CANNOT ask you for more money once the job has been accepted (unless the description was not accurate or in other rare cases). Most jobs don’t even require that you talk to the provider prior to accepting it. You post, close the app, and go on with your life. Every time someone makes you an offer, you tap on the notification, look at the profile if the price already makes sense to you, and if not, you close it and leave it there. I have seen jobs going from $300 to $120 in 10 mins. You don’t even have to do anything. They see the current offer and want to beat it. If someone beats theirs, they get a notification and try to decrease a bit more. Remember, they want to earn your business, so you can keep playing with your kids while the price is dropping every few minutes. It obviously gets to a point where it becomes less likely to decrease, but by the, you have plenty of options to choose from. Leonardo, I get excited just talking about it! We, on the other hand, step in when the client is not satisfied with the service and send a different provider or compensate for reasonable damages or losses. We do have liability insurance for up to $1M for extreme cases. For revenue projections, we are expecting to be nationwide and in at least 20 countries in 5 years. You are only seeing about 40% of what Linkio will be. You will be amazed by the features we will release over the year, trust me ;).
