## FAQ
1. **What motivated you to start Kwame Baah Shoes?**
 - The desire to see family and friends having the capacity to take of themselves.
2. **What percent of your 2017 sales was online vs in store sales?**
 - Hi Kevin, thanks for your question. At the moment we are generating approximately 5% of our sales from online and the remaining is from retail/wholesale trade shows and in store. This is not good for the longevity of the company and brand because we are in the digital age and more retail business is occurring online. That is the why we are focusing more on digital marketing this year and beyond. We have put together a solid digital marketing plan for this year, and we are hoping this offering...
3. **(1) Do you have financial statements available for review? (2) Do you have, or are you planning for, FT employees? (3) Who is handling your Marketing Plan?**
 - Hi Thomas, 1.) We do have financial statements, attached to the form C. The form C is located below the RISK section under the OTHER DISCLOSURES. Scroll to the bottom of the page and you find it. When you click on the form C, click on these two documents: documents_list.htm and document_5.pdf. 2,) Yes, we have two full time employees, including myself, and one part-time employee in the US. We also have 15 full-time employees in our factory in Ghana that make the shoes. 3.) We used to do our o...
4. **Can you reconcile two conflicting figures on this site? On the video it says you have raised $11,660 from 8 investors, but further down the page it says you've raised $96,660 from 8+ investors. I am trying to get a sense as to how close you are to achieving your $50,000 minimum.**
 - Hi Thomas, The $11, 660 on the video is the total amount raised from the ongoing campaign with Wefunder. The $96,660 is this $11,660 plus all funds raised previous to the Wefunder campaign. Any loans that are on the financial statement are considered previously raised funds. So we are $38,340 ($50,000-$11,660) away from achieving the $50,000 minimum goal.
5. **Is it 10% of gross or net revenue?**
 - Hi Fabian, Thanks for the question. It is 10% of gross revenue share.

## Q&A
- Q: Hi George... Hi, I am an investor but have not been receiving updates. Can I get on the mailing list please. Thanks...
 - A: Hi Paul, There is no a mailing list. All the update is posted through Wefunder. So please check with Wefunder to find out why you are not receiving the updates.
- Q: Investors of $500,or more were to receive a pair of sandals. When will this happen?
 - A: Hi Ken, Did you received your sandals?
- Q: Hi George. Would you be providing us Tax forms (1099) for the payouts ? We would need it for 2019 and 2020
 - A: Hi Shankar, We are currently seeking legal counsel on the tax form and would provide update soon.
- Q: Good day to you, sir: Do you have any plan to have another Crowed Funding? I did not start investing until 20019; therefore I did not invest in your company. Thank you and and all the best to you. C.N.F.
 - A: Hi Clinton, thank you for your message. At a moment we have not make any decision on whether to do another funding raise or not. We will make the decision next year.
- Q: Hello George, As per previous communication, investors are due for first payout for the quarter ending September 30, 2019, which you said will be paid our by October 15, 2019 right? If yes, what's the modalities for payment? Does the money go into a wallet at Wefunder or it gets credited to investors' accounts? What is the plan for those who invested from outside US?
 - A: Hi Oluwafemi,Per previous communications investors are due for first payout at the end of October. Below is the information I provided from Wefunder in the previous communications, "Yes, exactly. Since the disbursements went out in September, which is considered the end of Q3, your first payment will be due in the beginning of Q4 (October 30th, 2019). And great! We'll reach back out to you next year to remind you to send payment to us by October 15th, 2019 so we can get the repayments to investors on time".The 10% revenue payment would be send to Wefunder and Wefunder would disburse payments to investors. As I stated in my last update, I would be providing the up date numbers first week of October.
- Q: Haven't seen any updates on here since Feb. How are things going?
 - A: Hi Robert, things are going good, we will be providing an update at the end of August.
- Q: You mentioned that you were looking for a digital marketing company in your 2018 update. I just wanted to follow up and see if you have found one yet. If not then I have a team that I've used that may be able to help.
 - A: Thank you Robert.
- Q: Hello George, I asked you a while ago as to when the financial reports for the year ended December, 2018 be ready, to which you said 31/01/19. I just wanted to follow up to know if you have an update for investors. Regards,
 - A: Hi Oluwafemi, we have not provided the 2018 financial report to investors yet. By law we are require to provide the 2018 financial report to SEC (which includes investors) by March 15, 2019. However, I was hoping the CPA can complete it by December 31st but was communicated to me that expectation was not achievable. So that is the reason why 2018 financial report is not posted. CPA is working the 2018 financial report and update as soon is available. I would like to assured you that we are going to stay within the deadline set forth by the law. Thank you George.
- Q: Hello George, How soon will investors get the numbers for period ended December 31, 2018? I suppose we are qualified for revenue share for Q4 2018? Kindly revert.
 - A: Oluwafemi, The sale report for fourth quarter 2018 would be available on 01/31/2019. Per wefunder the first quarterly payment is due one year after campaign closure. See below, "On Mon, Nov 5, 2018 at 4:51 PM Ree Ree Li wrote: Hi George, So sorry for the delay on my end! Please find attached the final investor list. Also, thank you so much for checking in on the repayments - we appreciate you doing so! Your first payment starts one year after the loan date (essentially when the contracts were countersigned which was in Q3 2018). So the 10% gross revenues payment for the first Q3 2019 payment will be due in Q4 2019 on October 15th, 2019. I really appreciate your patience and persistence on ensuring you're on time with your repayments! Let me know if you have any questions, as I'm happy to chat more about this. Cheers, Ree Ree"
- Q: Hi there! Just saw your company come through my facebook feed. I love the looks of these shoes! And am interested in investing but also want to buy some ;) Having trouble finding things on the website. For example, under Men's there is just one item showing now. Also looking for those all leather ones showing in one of the photos on top. Are most things available upon contacting you guys? I do not mind waiting a bit if necessary. Sorry to ask here but people need to be able to buy these amazing items! I know Id like a pair and my daughter loves your designs as well. Thanks for any help! - Marty from CT,USA
 - A: Hi Martin, Thanks for your question. You are correct there is currently only one men style called GYA, we are out of loafers and kente print. GYA comes in all brown leather, all black leather, Red kente combo and Green Kente. You would see all the available color option for GYA when you click on it. We perform a redesign of our website to simplify product names after we launched our Wefunder campaign so investor perk description is different than before.
- Q: Hi George, how are you? Will a lender perfection of security interest in the business in conjunction with financing be an issue for the business?
 - A: Hi David, thanks for asking and all is well. At the moment the answer to your question is yes. However, we can have further discussion as the business continues to grow.
- Q: What amount of investment would ensure future equity in the company?
 - A: Hi Tay, at the moment we have decided not to tie any amount of investment to future equity. However, our current revenue share investors will receive an advance notification when we conduct our equity campaign in three years.
- Q: How do I purchase sandals or shoes?
 - A: Hi Renee, you purchase them on our website at www.kwamebaah.com
- Q: Hi George, I am an American living in Australia. I love your story and your dream and I admire your resilience and ingenuity. Are you interested in selling these shoes in Australia? These types of products (something made in a “third world country” in order to improve life there and sold in “first world” countries) are becoming increasingly popular here. Also, have you got a plan to cope with increasing demand so that when sales orders rise you can still supply enough shoes to meet demand?
 - A: Hi Kent, we are interested in selling in Australia. We already have few boutique stores from the UK and Netherlands that are working on carrying the our brand next year. Also, we do have plans to increase our capacity in the event of bulk wholesale orders while maintaining the quality of our product. You can send me an e-mail at sales@kwamebaah.com and will send you our confidential wholesale price.
- Q: It appears that you have crossed the minimum threshold of your intended raise. When is your campaign closing? Or will you be looking forward to hitting the upper limit ($100k) of the range?
 - A: Hi Oluwafemi, we are working with Wefunder to do a rolling close on July 23rd where we can withdraw the minimum threshold and continue to compaign to the upper limit ($100K). If this is complete then the date for early Bird investors repayment will be the date we receive funds from Wefunder.
