## Story
We are forging a pathway to creating anime. An ambitious company leading the charge in creating fan-owned anime Intellectual Properties. "Hollywood is Clueless, Lets help them get a clue!"We aim to create a new method for breaking into the anime industry by utilizing equity crowdfunding and allowing the fans to own the anime. Our mission is to serve the masses of black manga and anime fans neglected in the mainstream entertainment industry and provide a new pathway to getting original IP's adapted into anime. It's time to challenge the Hollywood gatekeepers. The power is always with the people; it's time to restore power to the people. "Examine the obstacles, determine the vision, find the resolve, and explore the alternatives to dissolving the obstacles. By any means necessary!" Fan-Owned Anime The Hollywood power structure is not a meritocracy; it isn't about who has the best intellectual property (IP) or what IPs have the most potential. 99% of the time, it's about who you know; because of that, the majority of independent IPs will never see the light of day, which is truly a travesty. However, with platforms like Wefunder, power has been restored to the people, and with that power, we can hurdle over the Hollywood "pick-me" culture and champion IPs that genuinely have the potential. This project puts the power back into the hands of the fans. We're excited about the creative energy that each of you can bring to this endeavor, and we invite you to join us in making anime history together. A new day is dawning, and the community can finally invest in an IP before it gets famous and share in the profits. The time is now! We can do this as a community! The Anime Industry is BoomingHollywoods Missed Opportunity (Their Loss..Our Win) Men Lie, Women Lie, Numbers Don't -Jay ZBlack People & Anime. (A love Story) Demographics Estimated 70 Million+ Black Anime Fans WorldwideWhy you should invest A glimmer of opportunity will always exist when exclusion and exploitation are pervasive. The lane for black anime is wide open; millions of black anime fans are just waiting on the emergence of black anime. The way I see it, we have two choices (1) Sit back and wait for the Hollywood power structure to make up its mind on if it'll start producing black anime, or (2) Take charge as a community and be the change we want to see. The Knight of Abyss Anime initiative is about future building. It's about pioneering a new industry and carving out our own space in the culture. A rare opportunity is being presented to the community, and I have the utmost faith that, as a collective, we can destroy the Hollywood barriers and bring Black Anime into existence. In short black anime is an untapped market, and with any untapped market, the demand is high, but no one is supplying; its time to change that. Black people exist solely as the consumer within the anime industry; however, when you look at who adequately contributed to popularizing anime and making it mainstream, it was black people, from athletes, singers, rappers, actors, and even black politicians. Black people largely contributed to the rise and popularization of anime. Thus, black people are one of the anime industry's biggest demographics, but where is black anime? Where is the representation? It's virtually non-existent. However, with the advent of social media and the rise of independent black creators, black anime will soon exist. With its emergence, a pocket universe will be born. A universe serving the masses of neglected black anime and manga fans, I sense the coming of a black anime renaissance. Additionally, black Anime is essential because it contributes to the diversification and inclusivity of the anime medium, allowing for authentic representation and relatable storytelling for Black audiences. By featuring characters, themes, and narratives that reflect the Black experience, Black Anime provides a platform for individuals to see themselves reflected in a genre that has historically lacked diversity. This representation fosters a sense of belonging and pride and helps break down stereotypes and challenge cultural biases. Additionally, Black Anime opens doors for cross-cultural understanding; ultimately, the presence of Black Anime enriches the anime landscape, fostering creativity, broadening horizons, and promoting a more inclusive entertainment industry overall. The opportunity to be a forerunner and pioneer doesn't come often; black anime doesn't exist. It's a wide-open lane; the possibilities are immense, the potential profitability is immeasurable, and the time to seize the moment is now.

## FAQ
1. **I have a simple question since you have the company stated as an "Anime / Manga" will it be dual audio?**
 - Hey, Just to clarify by dual audio do you mean; will it be in different languages?
2. **I believe I might be asking the wrong question. Will the approach be similar to the Boondocks ( american comedy show) or an Afro Samurai (japanese / american action show).**
 - Oh, ok, I see. I would say no. KOA is a high-level, serious anime. It's adjacent to series like Full Metal Alchemist, Code Geass, Death Note, Naruto, etc. The Boondocks and Afro-Samurai are pretty different from the series I just mentioned.
3. **For people who invested significant amount of money, (say 10k or more) are there any additional parks of benefits? Would they be able to have it any input into future elements of the story or production? I'm a black man in the real estate business and love anime. We need more ...**
 - Potentially yes. Not with the story but, being involved in production in some way is certainly a possiblity. Shoot me a email and we can further discuss this.
4. **What is the estimated rate and time period of return on the investment? What percentage of the company will investors own (ie do you have other investors that predate us? ) Do you have any consultants or advisors on your team that have had success with getting an amine product...**
 - Hey, Great questions. Question 1: Typically, anime takes about 1-2 years to make; this is a long-term investment. The goal will be to release a few seasons through streaming networks to build its popularity, and then, when it's at its height, strike! Question 2: As for outside investors that predate we-funder investor no. The only investors I have are through we-funder at the moment. Question 3&4: I have industry mentors. Also, several high-profile Hollywood entities are interested in KOA...
5. **what percentage of the company will investors own?**
 - That depends on how much the investor chooses to invest. In this round, I'm offering a total of 1.5 million company shares.

## Q&A
- Q: What are the estimated release dates for the series ? What season or year I’m just thirsty to watch as a fan . But I’m clarifying my anticipations to determine how long I patiently wait . I know y’all prolly going hard behind scenes.
 - A: Appreciate the love and support fr 🙏🏽—we’re definitely going hard behind the scenes to make sure it’s worth the wait. Right now, the release window is looking like anywhere from 2 to 3 years out. (Could change based on circumstances) We want to give it the time it needs to really deliver something special. Stay locked in—we’ll keep dropping updates along the way to keep you in the loop.🔥👁️
- Q: What is the estimated rate and time period of return on the investment? What percentage of the company will investors own (ie do you have other investors that predate us? ) Do you have any consultants or advisors on your team that have had success with getting an amine product picked up by a studio or media company before? What is your plan B if no company shows interest?
 - A: Hey, Great questions. Also, several high-profile Hollywood entities are interested in KOA; at this point, it's only a matter of time. There is no plan B because plan A works and will continue to work. God Willing. Tap in and join the movement. #KOAUPNEXT
- Q: Hey friend! I messaged you through the email I think, but in case I didn't, my address changed! I'm pretty sure I changed it on here, but I wanted to make sure everything was copacetic. Let me know what, if anything, I need to do on my end. Zip code is 94612. Thanks, and good luck!
 - A: Copy! All good bro. 💯
- Q: Hi there, for clarity: are the Investment rounds completely closed now?
 - A: Hey, Yes the round has closed.
- Q: By investing, what am I actually investing in? How can I trak or view earnings, market, etc.? Where can I ibtain more information?
 - A: Great questions. By investing, you’re becoming a shareholder in Knight of Abyss Studios; you will receive regular updates on company performance and milestones right here on Wefunder.
- Q: whats IPO as a new investor I would like to understand terms , second how would we understand or know we inverstors to KOA is it via revenue on wefunder or what kind of appreciation do genuine investors receive besides currency ?
 - A: An IPO, or Initial Public Offering, is when a private company offers its shares to the public for the first time on a stock exchange; you will receive regular updates on company performance and milestones right here on Wefunder.
- Q: Thank you for clarifying that with me.
 - A: Sure, no problem.
- Q: @Quintin Dorsey. I really hate to ask this. But, can I get a more over-view explanation of what you mean by overall brand. Does the brand refer to the company products and other things? Just trying to do my due diligence here to know what I would be getting into with this investment. I love anime. been watching it since 1993 But, as an investor need to know a bit more. And thank you for answering my other question.
 - A: Hey, Great question . 1. Does the brand refer to the company products and other things? So, the brand refers to all revenue streams generated by the Knight of Abyss brand. So everything, including TV/film deals, merch & licensing, book publishing, etc. And any future new IPs that get attached to KOA Studios Inc.
- Q: Greetings, Now I have a question. I am more of an investor that likes to see more long term on an investment rather than shorter terms. Now when we invest what are we talking here investment into an anime / manga series. Or are we talking about investment into a company that plans to produce multiple manga /anime.
 - A: Hey Maltese, Great question. You're investing in the overall Brand of KOA; as of now, we only have our flagship, KOA. However, we've already signed a deal with two major industry production companies and are in the process of pitching it. In the future, we will produce and make more IPs, some of which are already cooking behind the scenes.
- Q: What if you already invested and want to add more funds into what you already invested?
 - A: Hey, You can increase your investment at any time while the round is open. See my next update.
- Q: Three pertinent questions: #1. Do you have a timeline for the anime in 2025? #2. Are you pursuing an IPO or will you pay investors through dividends? #3. Is my investment in the entertainment company or just the episodes?
 - A: Hey Efosa, 1. Do you have a timeline for the anime in 2025? We do. Take some time to look and read through my updates to get a better understanding of where we are right now. #2. Are you pursuing an IPO or will you pay investors through dividends? As of now IPO but, that's still TBD. #3. Is my investment in the entertainment company or just the episodes? Entertainment Company.
- Q: I appreciate your swift response to my previous questions. Thank you. One more question. What is your plan for the IPO? (i.e. When do you expect to have KOA in a position for the IPO)
 - A: It would be ideal after a few seasons when it's at its height in regards to popularity, etc.
- Q: I've been keeping an eye on KOA for a while and I'm glad I have the opportunity to invest. What are the perks at each investment tier? Will I receive shares? If yes, what is the price per share? How will investors be paid? Thank you.
 - A: Hey Michael, thank you for being a long-term supporter of KOA. Question 1: The perks are listed below. Question 2&3: Yes. Selling shares for O.70 cent. Question 4: IPO is the plan. Perks: 250-1 Exclusive Limited Edition KOA Digital Wall Paper/500-2 Exclusive Limited Edition KOA Digital Wall Paper/1000-3 Exclusive Limited Edition KOA Digital Wall Paper/10000-Graded Limited Edition Variant Cover of KOA Vol 1, 2 3 (Signed)
- Q: To piggyback on a question that was asked previously, for first time investor, what I invest is it recurring, and if so how often?
 - A: Hey Jasmine, It's a one-time investment. They are not recurring.
- Q: Hey! Any timeline for the next announcement or update? Also, it would be really cool if you published a drawing or animation course for pure beginners like me (when you can fit it into your schedule of course). P.s.: I backed KoA issue #1 and #2 on Kickstarter! So cool to see it flourish here and beyond.
 - A: Hey Eric, we have a lot going on behind the scenes. However, we plan to make a big announcement sometime in the middle or end of August. (God willing) Also, some folks who worked on the trailer already do classes. Check them out. (danielcuervoanimation)
