Jay, our cofounder, grew up in a vegan town in Israel. He moved to the U.S. and started eating snack bars, thinking they were a healthy option. When he looked more closely at the labels, he was shocked to find a long list of ingredients he didn’t recognize and could barely pronounce – artificial preservatives and sweeteners, animal-derived proteins, and more.
He soon linked up with Ron, our other cofounder and a former chef. Ron had first tasted the sweet, fiber-filled superfood dates while traveling in the Middle East. Ron came up with the recipe for our first product, the Date Bar, soon after, and Keep Healthy was born.

Our bars have between 2 and 11 ingredients, are non-GMO, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, kosher, and 100% plant-based. We don't add high fructose corn syrup, agave, stevia, artificial sweeteners, or artificial preservatives.
Our bars have a shelf life up to 18 months and are preserved using the fruit's naturally occurring sugars and oils, unlike many of our competitors who add artificial sweeteners and artificial preservatives.
Additionally, our snack bars are in approximately 8,000 points of sale, including convenience stores, grocery stores, and specialty markets up and down the East Coast.
