## Story
Nearly 1 in 2 Americans feel highly concerned for their safety.* To meet this demand, we created Kazoo: A game-changing safety technology platform that gives you safety with a single tap.“911, What is the address of your emergency?” is the first question dispatchers ask, and for good reason: A dispatcher's first goal is to get help on the way. But relaying your location is often easier said than done. In emergency situations, you may not know your exact location, or you may be unable to articulate it clearly due to injuries, stress or safety concerns.THAT’S WHERE KAZOO COMES INALL-IN-ONE SCREEN, AND IN SECONDSThe screens below demonstrate how Kazoo’s life-saving technology works. When you tap SOS (left), your emergency contacts (right) see an instant broadcast of the scene and have (8) vital data points and functions at their fingertips.Next, the screens below demonstrate a real-life scenario where Kazoo can be used to save lives. Imagine being at a music festival and chaos erupts. Everyone scrambles for shelter – one person has Kazoo installed. That person taps the SOS button, and an instant video live stream is broadcast to his emergency contacts, who then call 911 on his behalf. The 911 dispatcher instantly receives all of the victim’s vital information (name, phone number, location), while the emergency contact describes what’s going on at the scene—all in under 30 seconds. The dispatcher then deploys the appropriate emergency responder resources to the scene.KAZOO PARTNERS WITH RAPIDSOS TO CONNECT INTO NATIONWIDE PUBLIC SAFETY SYSTEM10,000 lives could be saved every year by reducing 911 response times by one minute. Kazoo saves that minute by providing enhanced connectivity to 911 and automatically relaying critical information about the victim to the 911 dispatcher. To make this technology happen, Kazoo partnered with RapidSOS to connect directly into 4,800 emergency call centers nationwide with 93% U.S. coverage.Michael Martin, CEO of RapidSOS said, “Together with innovative companies like Kazoo certified as RapidSOS Ready, we’re providing people with an added layer of safety and security and we’re supporting our heroic first responders in saving millions of lives annually.”KAZOO—THE ALL-IN-ONE 'MUST HAVE' COMPANION APP FOR LIFE Kazoo keeps you safe—and connected. 3. **What is the marketing strategy to promote expanding its user base thanks**
 - What is the marketing strategy to promote expanding its user base thanks. Kazoo has both B2C and B2B business models. With B2C, our strategy is to promote/sell through key marketing partnerships, which will minimize any marketing costs because we will be using their channels of members and customer bases. This will also ensure that we have highly engaged audiences. We secured two solid partnerships – one with the Hydrocephalus Association, which has 100,000 members; and the second with Stand ...

 - Hi Alan - thanks for your feedback and questions. Regarding your first question - although Kazoo was founded on 4/1/19, we've been working on the technology two years prior. It was in an incubator state where we developed and perfected our location and alerting technology, and we were generating revenue in the App Store and collection valuable conversion data. ## Q&A
- Q: We heard of of mid June launch and it’s now the beginning of August without a launch. We heard quarterly updates and it’s now semiannual. Tell me why with so much good possible why does this smell very odd?
- Q: A small amount of the current software/company status would be GREATLY APPRECIATED by me and all other investors. I am invested in several startups and most are very good at updates especially since every investor is at the risk of total loss. Add in Covid, Hurricanes, Riots, Floods, Famine, and the worst locust plague outbreak is the worst in 70 years in Kenya and the worst in 25 years in Ethiopia, Somalia and India. Now, with all that in mind just happening in 2019-2020 alone it makes the masses concerned with the future and the state of their investments. Building the company and lining up everything is the primary task at this point I understand. However, it just takes a few minutes of your time to post and this would do wonders for all of our mental health during this very difficult period. THANK YOU!
 - A: Hi Chris, Thanks for your message. Certainly it's been very challenging and precarious times for us all - and I completely understand your perspective. Rest assured, the Kazoo team has been working diligently to take the company to the next level. We will have a notable update for all investors in mid-November, as we’ve been working through some key strategic matters over the summer. I appreciate your patience, and I greatly appreciate your support! Please always feel that you can reach out to me directly, and I will always be responsive. I’ll be in touch soon. Best,Peter
- Q: When will this round of funding conclude? The public launch keeps getting pushed back.
 - A: Hi Derrick - thanks for your question. In consulting with our account manager at Wefunder, we have pushed back our public launch because of Covid-19. We have a national PR campaign planned, which correlates to our public launch, and we want to ensure that the message resonates with our audiences. It also includes TV pitches in leading markets. We are also $4K away from reaching our first milestone of $50K, so we'd like to come out of the gates strong. Regarding when the round will end, we are thinking mid-June. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. -Peter
- Q: I am extremely disgruntled. You guys have been silent for months. A simple update would be courteous at the least. Please update us on your current operations and efforts. Please acknowledge how you are planning to get around the fact of another app that is currently live , accomplishing what you guys plan to accomplish. I inquired to email through your website with no response. You may email me at mowhit14@gmail.com... thank you ..
 - A: Hi Morgan, Thanks for your message. My apologies but I didn’t see your message via the website – I would have promptly responded. Things are progressing at Kazoo. We will have an update for investors as we’ve been working through some key strategic matters over the summer. I appreciate your patience, and we greatly appreciate your support! I’ll be in touch. Best,Peter
- Q: I hate to say this because I hate what’s going on in this world right now but what a good time for this app to come out. We need Kazoo SOS now more than ever.
 - A: Hi John - I hope you’re doing well. I want to acknowledge your message. We greatly appreciate your investment and support and will be updating investors on a semi-annual basis. That being said, we hope to have a more substantial update sooner. Best, Peter
- Q: Hi - can you please provide a demo for me? I need to see the app in action to get a feel for the investment. Also, in a true emergency, is it realistic for someone to search for the Kazoo app when they probably have 50+ currently installed? During emergencies, people don’t have much time to think and many decisions are impulsive.
 - A: Hi Raymond - Absolutely, I'd be happy to provide a demo. During the demo, I'll show you how prominent, quick and accessible our technology is in the event of an emergency. When is a good time for a demo? Looking forward to our conversation!
 - A: Hi Raymond - thanks for your email. I'll send you a message shortly. Looking forward to our conversation! -Peter
- Q: Peter, please update us on Kazoo? Any news? We no longer heard any update from you...
- Q: Where do you see this Kazoo 10y from now. IPO or acquire?
 - A: Either is possible. Regarding an IPO, Kazoo is comparable to Life360, which is a lifestyle app and offers a parallel roadmap of the progression. Life360 has seen rapid growth—now reaching 25 million monthly active users in over 140 countries. Most notably, Kazoo has a better product and our market distinguishing functionality is our safety technology - SOS live streaming video that connects to the nationwide 911 system. Life360 also did an Australian IPO, which valued the company at $535M - they also reached $38M in revenue. An acquisition is most likely - this could range from one of the major Telcos or rideshare companies, home healthcare companies - the list goes on. And because we're offering a favorable low valuation cap, the potential upside is significant.
- Q: I and MANY investors would like a thorough review of the current software and your traction vs companies like bond giving a FREE APP very close to the platform functionality of Bond Inc?
 - A: Hi Chris - thanks for your question. Yes, I'm quite familiar with Bond as they are in our competitive analysis chart. Although we have some shared functionality, Kazoo does a lot more in terms of being a well-rounded app for location, groups, secure communications, and even expanded emergency services by bringing into play a user's emergency contacts with live streaming. Also, our market expansion strategy distinguishes Kazoo as well. Over the next ten days, I'll be offering Kazoo product demos and Investor Q&As via Zoom. It would be great for you to join one of the sessions. I'll post various dates via the Investor Update posts. -Peter
- Q: Hi! I asked some questions yesterday (2/8/2020) that have not yet been answered. Could you please answer my questions below. Thanks, Don
- Q: Hey Unicorn! Grow that horn! Grow that horn! Grow that horn! 🦄
- Q: How would you differentiate yourself from Prepared, (https://preparedapp.com/) which seems to be much later stage in terms of launch and investment?
- Q: Hi Peter, What if users' friends' devices get hacked or stolen? How to you prevent people not in the intended circle to gain access to the SoS app installed on users and their friends' devices? Thanks!
 - A: Hi Helen - thanks for your question. We take security and safety seriously as we've implemented extra security functionality within Kazoo. These functionalities include: ability of users to block a member of a circle; ability of a user to report other users; rate limiting on login - the number of login attempts are strictly limited to protect our application against login bots and other individuals who are trying to figure out a password; we use JWT access tokens to ensure data requests are from known and approved circle members; ability of a user to change the circle code to ensure that unwanted users cannot access the originally created circles. -Peter
- Q: Will there be anything int he app that will aid with the fight against infectious diseases like the Coronavirus COVID-19?
 - A: Hi Joe - thanks for your question. It's a good one. One of the biggest issues with Coronavirus is deciphering all the information - trying to figure out what's accurate vs. inaccurate information. So, people should better control the flow of information. A compelling and valuable part of Kazoo is its secure group communications functionality and the ability to setup different circles. So it's closed communications among people whom you trust. With iMessage on iOS, people are limited to 20 people per group - Kazoo allows unlimited # of members - and it's simple to add new people to the group. This is not the case with other apps. Kazoo facilitates not only group communications but also the ability to set up different groups (circles) for different purposes, which make sharing photos, video chat, texts a streamlined and efficient experience - and all communications revolve around location for safety purposes.
- Q: Hello, Luna and Peter! I just wanted to say I am proud to be an investor in KAZOO! I think I see a UNICORN! 😀
 - A: Hi Gary - thanks for your investment and comment! We see a unicorn as well! Please share with your friends and family! ;-)
