We're the Robinhood for pre-IPO startups. We allow everyone to invest $100 in a startup they love.
Over the past five years, we've helped fund 826 startups with $362,349,253 – including flying cars, space rockets, breweries, Hollywood studios, and potential Ebola cures.
We’re looking for someone to lead Inbound Growth at Wefunder, driving the first conversation with founders considering raising money with us.
Our past growth has been driven by the number of companies we launch on the platform: 50% of investments in each company come from the friends, family, and customers of the founder, then 25% of those investors go on to make a repeat investment. As the first point of contact many of our companies have with Wefunder, you are a critical piece of our growth strategy.
Our Dream Candidate
Our dream candidate can talk to any founder and immediately know what to ask to understand their business and relate to their challenges. Experience isn’t important; hunger to make a difference is. Most days you’ll be on back-to-back calls, context switching at lightning speed. You need to be both hyper-organized and a relationship builder. Bonus points if you've founded a company before; you'll understand the user better.
Some things you could be doing
Over the course of a normal week, here’s what you might be working on:
- Talking to dozens of founders ranging from brewery owners to flying car inventors, and helping them figure out if raising money on Wefunder is a good fit for them
- Acting as the “switchboard” for companies entering our pipeline, accessing their fit and determining their right next step
- Creating systems to streamline those hand offs and scale up our capacity
- Consolidating founder feedback on their experience so far with Wefunder, and distilling the most important pieces for our Product team
You can talk to any founder, in any industry, and instantly know the most important questions to ask to understand their business and need to raise funds.
Equally important, you can build a process for fielding inbound applications that scales, with clear metrics attached.
Market-rate salaries and stock options.
Unlimited vacation days (mandatory 3 weeks off).
Medical, dental, & vision insurance.
401(k) with company match.
All-expense paid Wefunder vacation. We’ve taken three train trips across the country.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org with why you'd like to work for us. Brownie points: include a survival skill you'd offer the team in a post-apocalyptic world.

We're a Public Benefit Corporation with a mission to revitalize
capitalism and keep the American dream alive. GDP growth is slowing. Wealth inequality is increasing.
Entrepreneurship is dying across America; falling from 10.6% to 3.6% among those under 30 since 1989. We're
reversing these trends by funding more deserving businesses across all of America, not solely tech startups
in Silicon Valley.

Curious how well the companies have done? Or how many raised follow-on financing?
Some fine print: 1) These numbers include startups currently live on Wefunder if they pass their minimum target. 2) Some startups use two different laws at the same time (i.e., Regulation D and Regulation Crowdfunding).
