It all started when I was walking in Bali, when my sandals broke. Left barefoot on the sidewalk, I needed a solution.Inspired by a rustic pair of tire sole sandals found in a boutique, I went home and did some research about tire waste and was inspired to change the way things were headed. From this, the concept for Indosole was born.\u0026nbsp;Working with more passionate people, we grew the team and perfected the sandal as the years progressed. It’s been quite a journey with our amazing team; normal people trying to solve a worldwide pollution problem.We dedicated the last 10 years to being the environmental keepers of the future. We merged artisan skill with corrective impact, developing a laborious shoemaking process that transforms tires to soles by hand.In 2010 we created a manufacturing process from scratch — sourcing \u0026amp; testing. Then in 2011 launched with four basic models (500 pairs delivered). We had an organic growth from 500 pairs to 5,000 pairs per year in 2012, and it continued to grow to 15,000 per year in 2013-2014 and 25,000 pairs per year in 2015-2016. First phase product development brand investment.Now we have cracked the formula.
