LEAD INVESTOR
First of all, I am an avid Hunt A Killer “player”! My wife, son and daughter-in-law are on our second episodic series. We are hooked! In the world of e-commerce to be successful you need to have a “sticky” product or service. HAK is “Elmer’s Glue” sticky! It’s no wonder they have millions of loyal followers! Second, I know the games market quite well. I have an M&A practice that is has done a lot of work in the toys and games industry. My partners and I have worked with many of the major players in both the physical and digital game play categories so can say with confidence that Hunt A Killer is a stand out brand and already getting attention from potential future buyers. Ryan and his team have honed two important skill sets that give the HAK brand a strong competitive edge… first, they are awesome story tellers. It’s not a stretch to see some of the HAK games as Netflix mini-series. Next, they have an engaging, proprietary game platform that draws players into an interactive, immersive experience bringing their great stories to life. When it comes to investing, there are no “sure things”. However, I have improved my odds over the years by sticking with brands, companies and industries that I know a lot about. So, taking on the lead investor role for HAK was a “zero hesitation” decision for me.

Hunt A Killer's 4 Key Growth Pillars

I. Brick & Mortar: Hunt A Killer capitalized on its robust brand presence from the burgeoning DTC trend to make significant inroads to the retail sector. Our games are now prominently featured in major retail outlets, including Target, Walmart, and Barnes & Noble. This heightened visibility and accessibility have not only accelerated our company's growth and customer acquisition, but also seamlessly integrated our online tie-ins, creating a comprehensive and interconnected gaming experience.

We are uniquely positioned to capture the attention of even broader audiences, further solidifying our standing as a dominant force in the adult tabletop gaming industry domestically and internationally.

II. Online Marketplaces: Hunt A Killer harnesses the power of leading online marketplaces like Amazon.com, Walmart.com, and Target.com to expand its reach and cater to a diverse audience. With a strong digital footprint, our whodunit games meet our Detectives where they shop, fueling growth and broadening our customer base.

III. Direct-to-Consumer (DTC): Hunt A Killer has excelled in the DTC space by offering an unparalleled, immersive gaming experience that has captivated Detectives across the globe. By focusing on interesting storylines and characters that our Detectives can relate to, intricate puzzles, and exceptional customer engagement, our DTC business model nurtures strong customer loyalty and has allowed us to maintain a close connection with our growing community of players. This direct relationship enables us to gather valuable feedback and insights, which in turn inform our ongoing product development and improvements across all sales channels.

Our innovative subscription-based model has played a significant role in our DTC success. By providing players with serialized, thrilling content, Hunt A Killer created a committed subscriber base that eagerly anticipates each new installment. This recurring revenue stream not only ensures sustained business operations, but also helps us optimize our marketing strategies and customer acquisition efforts. As a result, Hunt A Killer's DTC approach has positioned the company at the forefront of the adult tabletop gaming industry, empowering us to revolutionize interactive entertainment.

IV. Licensing: Holding esteemed gaming licenses for iconic franchises like Agatha Christie, Nancy Drew, and Blair Witch, Hunt A Killer has forged strong ties with global entertainment and publishing powerhouses such as Lionsgate, Simon & Schuster and Scholastic.
