- Q: Hello Kellan, I just got back from Sial 2024 in Paris and you have a product that is very close to Marie Morin in Normandy France which also has a manufacturing facility on the outskirts of Montreal. I'm a very young start-up and in my business plan and once I have my customer base well defined I would like to get a maple mousse made by you under our brand label. Our maple products are Vegan, GMO free, Gluten free and we are Kosher certified. Richard Talbot - Maple Creek Spring Sweetness
  - A: Hi Richard, We're focused on building our Goddess Mousse brand. It's great to be related to the look, taste, and feel of dairy/egg based desserts as a vegan product, especially one from France!
- Q: Hello Kellan, Why did not profit go down despite revenue going up? What are operating expenses comprised of?
  - A: Hi Vicente, In 2022, net operating income was negative ($7,063) however we received $11.5k in grant funding which expresses our net profit as $4,443 in the Details tab. In 2023, we did not receive grant funding, and our net profit was $532. In 2022, our startup expenses, which exceeded revenues, were sustained by grants. In 2023, we operated with organic sales growth and net profitability. Operating expenses are primarily comprised of commercial kitchen and market booth rent, contract labor, legal/accounting, licenses/insurance, food science research/development, advertising/marketing, and small equipment.

Premium positioning and 50%+ gross margins have allowed us to prioritize product quality while growing profitably. Our Wefunder raise equips us with the working capital needed to duplicate our thesis regionally, commercialize our production with a manufacturing moat that differentiates us from other brands in the market, and begin generating revenue growth via unit volume. If we are successful in becoming a leader of the refrigerated dessert category nationally, we expect that our brand equity and positive EBITDA at scale will attract an acquisition from a mission-aligned strategic buyer. At this future point in time, Wefunder investors will receive a return at the best early-stage terms! Excited for you to join Goddess Mousse at this burgeoning stage!
