Blockchain privacy from the software guy who built for restaurants and retailers

## Elevator pitch
Our software lets businesses build safe, secure apps that insulate you and your loved ones from digital harm. Organizations build their apps on our cloud platform faster, cost-effectively, and with data privacy built in. Our pending patents let individuals share or revoke their personal information in the apps, and protect against cybercrime and cyber-terrorism.

## Story
Consumer data? How is that interesting? And how are breweries and the military able to use the same software? We're building the future of how each of us controls how we share or revoke our personal information with companies and corporations. We see how organizations gather, buy, and in some cases steal information about each one of us, hoping to get an edge on their competitors. Whether it's retailers or restaurants trying to convince you to buy something, or how an insurance company calculates your premium, your personal data provides organizations with the most effective way to engage you. Unfortunately, it feels like we have very little control over the information about us. It's like someone handing out copies of our driver's licenses and birth certificates to anyone who asks. Ethical businesses and organizations would rather not have so much power over our personal information. The problem is that most organizations don't have the technology to let us directly control what happens with personal information. That's where we come in...We built something special in the cloud: a "Platform As A Service" that allows ethical organizations to give control back to each of us to build trust and engagement. Applications built on GoBeep enable a whole new level of security and privacy under each of our control. The result? if we trust an organization, we're happy to share personal information. If they betray that trust, we simply "revoke" their access to us, and that's the end of it. If you're not a tech geek, feel free to skip this part. We reduce the overall cost and complexity for businesses to build secure, privacy-forward applications. The "Before-GoBeep" diagram below shows what it takes to build a well-designed cloud server and network architecture that supports world-class privacy and security. The "After-GoBeep" demonstrates just how much easier we make it for an organization to build their applications with our patents-pending, privacy, and security. We've demonstrated upwards of 70% savings and simplification for partners who build their applications with us.Using the latest department of defense security and encryption combined with blockchain (yeah, that blockchain you hear about with cryptocurrency), we ensure the exchange of personal information is treated with the same value and protection as the exchange money. We needed to prove our platform technology before opening it up to other markets, so we chose something fun and dear to our hearts: craft beer, wine, and spirits. We built an app called "Indulj" which is available on the Google and Apple play stores. The app leverages our platform technology and demonstrates a clear business case for the hospitality industry. We charge a monthly subscription to the businesses. They have their customers download the app and are able to personalize the marketing and sale of memberships, and subscriptions directly to each consumer based on their preferences. With this quickly growing industry, our customers are expanding locations and formats, adding stand-alone restaurants and even hotels. After selling commercially starting this past August, we have over 30 breweries signed up, growing by the week. Here's where things get exciting. A friend of ours who is a retired air force general asked if our patents might apply to helping our military and first responders improve their whole health and readiness. Previous attempts with apps didn't go well because of a lack of trust from the individual service members because of the stigma of sharing information with their chain of command. The Life Aid Research Institute has worked with US veterans and first responders for the last 14 years to help them improve their whole health and prevent suicide. They've positively affected the lives of over 30,000 individuals and their families.Life Aid wanted to build an app that takes their methods and outcomes to active duty service members, veterans, and first responders. They needed a platform to ensure users had absolute control over who could access their very personal information without fear of reprisal from the chain of command. GoBeep's platform and patents-pending uniquely let our service members build trust to improve their health, their readiness, and the quality of their lives. We worked with Life Aid to build a prototype of their app called LifeScore on our platform. They've been successful in connecting with our military leaders, and you can see below the pilots we have lined up for next year. This is incredibly exciting and happening very quickly! We're poised for fast growth. The chart below shows that we're in a nice-sized market, and believe we can capture $160,000,000 of that market over the next five years.Forward-looking projections cannot be guaranteed.Let's talk about competition. We have a unique product that covers multiple categories of software. It's a popular space as we watch some of our competitors get bought up by companies like Salesforce.com, Twilio, and Adobe. What makes us different is how we addressed consumer data privacy. It's not about being compliant with the laws of the land, which is where our competitors are. Instead, we built a fair and secure way to level the playing field between an individual and an organization. We skated to where the puck will be when data privacy no longer needs government intervention. Some thoughts about how GoBeep projects our income statement. We do not inflate our projections like other startups. Given our maturity in this industry, we take pride in modeling what we think we can make happen so we can under-promise and over-deliver. The opportunity we have in the wellness space is huge, and we believe our participation will grow quickly. However, we've projected our growth using S-Curve adoption. This means our projections, while more conservative, reflect the typical way new software gets adopted. What does this mean for you? Honesty and transparency. We set targets and we intend to hit or exceed them. We notify our investors quickly if we see a need to adjust our projections.Forward-looking projections cannot be guaranteed.Yeah - our team is a bunch of older folks. The advantage to you as an investor is that we've walked these roads for decades, with products, sales, and customers. We have experience and knowledge that enables us to take big risks while ensuring we can deliver when the risk turns out to be successful. So that's GoBeep. We dreamed of how to democratize digital information and how to help individuals and businesses build trust and improve their interactions. We built a software platform, filed our pending patents, and tested the technology in a fun market: craft alcohol. And while we anticipate that will be a terrific revenue generator, we're even more excited to expand into the wellness and healthcare spaces.

## FAQ
1. **What is your exit strategy? Does being the company the gives data control back to the consumer create a barriers for large companies (that love data) who might be potential acquirers?**
 - Hi David. Our exit strategy is to continue the high rate of growth we are projecting for at least the next 5 years and entertain potential acquisitions from companies who would be able to leverage our patents and technology. While you are correct that large companies are data-hungry, they are also looking for innovations that address what the future with data privacy looks like beyond today's legislation. The control provided to the individual means that with trust, these companies have the a...
2. **I'm curious if any of your brewery clients have been keyed in to this offering and whether any have decided to invest.**
 - Thanks for asking William. We just launched the public campaign last week, and are in the process of reaching out to our brewery clients to solicit their investment.
3. **Thanks for the response Paul. Any updates on progress there would be great insight, as that would be the ultimate validation of your product. I'm very interested as it seems to be a product with a lot of potential and you and Bill seem like good dudes. If you don't mind answer...**
 - Thanks, William. Here are the answers. 1. Max investment is $900k this round. Because the contracts with the military pilots (and initial payment) came in this month (2 quarters earlier than we projected), we may close the round earlier than planned. 2. All existing debt holders are planning to convert to equity. Yes, some existing debt comes due in 2022, but our debt holders want to wait for the conversion event. We've been lucky (and selective) in taking on investors who want to go the dist...
4. **For a 100$ investment how much stock do you get? How much stock are in existence?**
 - Hi Jeremy. For this offer, you are investing in a convertible note, not actual stock. As a result, the value of the shares will not be determined until the convertible note converts. You can learn more about convertible notes here: https://www.fundera.com/blog/what-is-a-convertible-note . Let me know if this answers your question.
5. **I like your business idea. It is a natural for blockchain. Have you considered looping in user earnings to increase adoption. This would be similar to what dimo.zone, and mapmetrics.org are doing for personal travel/driving information. So basically, the more data a user allow...**
 - Mark - thanks for the suggestion. Since our founding, we looked at these spaces and chose to continue studying instead of jumping in. Here's why: there's a number of companies that focused specifically on token-based rewards/payments for data sharing, and all that we tracked are out of business or pivoted. In our case, we believe the data itself is as valuable as currency, and the benefits from a responsible offered by a company getting user-initiated access to an individual's data are reward...

## Q&A
- Q: Any updates from the team??
 - A: Hello - unfortunately, our CFO Bud Aikens passed away lately, so we haven't had much time to keep up to date with communications. Are there any particular questions you have?
- Q: So. What is your company name? Indulj Or gobeep? Any Twitter / Facebook ? What the revenue to-date?
 - A: Hi there. The name of the company is GoBeep. The name of our app for hospitality is "Indulj" and is available in Google and IOS app store. Yes, we are on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn for both GoBeep and Indulj. We're closing our books for the year as we speak, so can't speak to our final revenue yet. In the meantime, please refer to our pro forma in which we projected $98k for 2021. We should have the actuals in the coming weeks. Thanks!
- Q: What public ledger are you building on? I highly recommend Hedera.
 - A: We are using IBM's Hyperledger (as a private ledger), as that has been vetted with the US government in other projects. Why do you recommend Hedera?
- Q: I like your business idea. It is a natural for blockchain. Have you considered looping in user earnings to increase adoption. This would be similar to what dimo.zone, and mapmetrics.org are doing for personal travel/driving information. So basically, the more data a user allows to be gathered of themself, the more tokens they would make. The info is safe and secure in your system. Advertisers can then purchase access with the tokens which creates the circular economic system. You could even consider distributed storage using the RevoFi.com system in the future. Then your cloud becomes the docker push to revofi stations, the master data agregator, and also the location AI searchloads could be run.
 - A: Mark - thanks for the suggestion. Since our founding, we looked at these spaces and chose to continue studying instead of jumping in. Here's why: there's a number of companies that focused specifically on token-based rewards/payments for data sharing, and all that we tracked are out of business or pivoted. In our case, we believe the data itself is as valuable as currency, and the benefits from a responsible offered by a company getting user-initiated access to an individual's data are reward enough. I look at it like money made on music platforms like Spotify- the payouts are so minuscule that there needs to be another form of benefit. Hope this makes sense. We will continue to look at innovative ways to leverage our blockchain to differentiate ourselves. Thanks!
- Q: For a 100$ investment how much stock do you get? How much stock are in existence?

I'm very interested as it seems to be a product with a lot of potential and you and Bill seem like good dudes. If you don't mind answering a few other questions: 1) Do you have any sense as to a max dollar investment in this round (looks like $900k per the Form C?); 2) Are existing debt holders planning to get paid back or convert to equity (looks like some of this debt is coming due in 2022); and 3) What is the interest on the note? Thanks in advance!
 - A: Thanks, William. We've been lucky (and selective) in taking on investors who want to go the distance with us. 3. Interest is 6% per annum.
- Q: I'm curious if any of your brewery clients have been keyed in to this offering and whether any have decided to invest.

While you are correct that large companies are data-hungry, they are also looking for innovations that address what the future with data privacy looks like beyond today's legislation. The control provided to the individual means that with trust, these companies have the ability to collect accurate and real-time information that is richer than what they've been able to collect or purchase in the past. Ethical companies realize that the accuracy and usefulness of data improve when coming directly from the individual. And that consumers are more willing to share more data when trust is established through controls like GoBeep.
