## FAQ
1. **This is like the Mr Fusion device on the back of Doc Browns DeLorean.**
   - We will be leveraging a high-temperature plasma stream to achieve molecular dissociation, breaking down complex hydrocarbons into their fundamental components. This process will produce Synthesis Gas (syngas), a versatile fuel source. Once generated, syngas can be utilized in gas turbines, such as those developed by GE and other manufacturers, to produce electricity. Alternatively, it can be processed through a Fischer-Tropsch Gas-to-Liquids (GTL) system to synthesize high-value fuels, includ...
2. **What do I get out of investing. There is a distinct difference between donating and investing. I expect a return on investment.**
   - When you invest through a SAFE, you are positioning yourself to potentially gain equity in the company during a future funding round or liquidity event. This gives you the opportunity to benefit from the company’s growth and success. However, as with any investment, there is inherent risk, and a return on investment cannot be guaranteed.
3. **Smith, According to the valuation cap of 45M 0.5% of ownership is being offered in exchange for the first $250K of early investors. Is this an accurate statement?**
   - Yes, that is correct. However, please note that the $45 million valuation cap is subject to change as we finalize our financial statements and prepare for the Form C filing. The final terms, including the valuation cap and corresponding ownership percentages, will be detailed in the official offering documents.
4. **Now that the first goal is hit, what happens next? Is there a second goal? Or is it filing paperwork? When do we get an email or phone call asking us to commit? I'm very new to this type of thing.**
   - Hi Jeff, thank you for your question and for your interest in supporting Firepoint Energy. At this stage, we are still in the "testing the waters" phase to gauge investor interest. We are working diligently to complete and file our Form C, which is required before we can formally begin accepting investments. Once our Form C is filed, all investors who have made a reservation will receive an email from Wefunder with instructions on how to confirm and commit to their investment. For more inform...
5. **Can you list out the rare earth elements that you know can be obtained by the process you described, and do you have any idea the amount that can be obtained per ton of waste coal?**
   - Hi Francesco, thank you for your interest in Firepoint. Please refer to the PDF file titled “Assumptions for Rare Earths Tunnelton 4M ton pile” which you can find by scrolling to the bottom of our campaign page underneath the heading Downloads. Please note these assumptions and calculations for the rare earth elements and other valuable minerals from the Tunnelton waste coal pile are based on estimates of their concentration in similar uncovered waste coal piles near the site. Since the Tunne...

## Q&A
- Q: Now that the first goal is hit, what happens next? Is there a second goal? Or is it filing paperwork? When do we get an email or phone call asking us to commit? I'm very new to this type of thing.
  - A: Hi Jeff, thank you for your question and for your interest in supporting Firepoint Energy. For more information about reservations and next steps, please refer to Wefunder's helpful guide here: https://help.wefunder.com/#/investor/reservations We appreciate your patience and support as we work through these next steps, and we look forward to keeping you updated on our progress.
- Q: will you reopen investment opportunity?
  - A: Hi, Debbie. Please leave us your contact information at http://firepoint.energy and we will send you an email to discuss this.
- Q: Are we able to still invest in your company? If not wefunder where?
- Q: Does my Reservation roll over into Stock when company files form C?
  - A: Hi Brandon, thank you for your interest in Firepoint Energy. Reservations made during our Wefunder campaign do not automatically convert into stock when we file our Form C. Instead, your investment is structured as a SAFE (Simple Agreement for Future Equity). This means your investment will convert into equity in the future, typically when a specific triggering event occurs, such as a priced equity round or liquidity event, as outlined in the terms of the SAFE. If you have any additional questions about the SAFE or how your investment works, please don't hesitate to reach out. Thank you for your support.
- Q: Why did Wefunder refund my second investment installment? They offered no reason and said to contact You at Firepoint saying "Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have made the decision to halt Firepoint's fundraising activities. We appreciate your understanding that we cannot disclose additional information at this time. For any specific inquiries, we recommend contacting Firepoint directly. We remain available to address any questions regarding your investment or related processes. This investment will be refunded to you." The last I saw, my second investment should have finalized by May 11th 2025 upcoming.. Please explain.. Thank you.
  - A: Hi, Todd. Thank you for your question, and sorry about the delay. We are working through an issue that prompted Wefunder to halt our campaign raise. We hope to continue raising funds through Wefunder in the near future once the situation is resolved, but if you'd like more information in the meantime, please send an email to idouglass@firepoint.energy. Thanks!
- Q: Hello Shelly, I have invested a month back and now I see my investment is in committed status. Will I get the share details / contract or any info regarding my investment ?
- Q: what is the cost per share?
  - A: Hi Francis, at this time, investments are made via a Simple Agreement for Future Equity (SAFE) rather than purchasing shares directly. Thank you for your interest in Firepoint Energy.
- Q: What contaminants will be left in the ground/water after the processing is done, and what will be done to mitigate harm from them?
  - A: Ok, two different subjects to cover due to the plants and processes we will be doing at every site. Phase one at Tunnelton will be the extraction of Lithium and other minerals from natural gas wastewater. The technology has been commercialized for several decades. The existing waste treatment plant on site will carry part of the load; we will also install a 100,000 - 200,000 gallon per day reverse osmosis plant to extract the salts and major minerals. The other equipment will be a DLE or Direct Lithium Extraction plant to specifically remove Lithium from the wastewater. After these two processes, the water effluents will be cleaner than the river we release them into, or they will be trucked off-site to be used for fracking as clean water. If you are referring to the extraction of minerals from waste coal and the ores associated with coal mining, we will use hydrometallurgical processes, which use acids, ionic fluids, and solvents to extract the REEs and other minerals. On each site, we will only extract high-value minerals. The rest will be trucked to a central ore processing plant for final separation. All acids, ionic fluids, and solvents will be run through plasma gasifiers, as this has been proven to effectively convert the major hazmat materials clean syngas. So, no harmful fuel emissions from gases or fluids will be emitted at any of our projects. Bill
- Q: Do you have any updates on the merger?
- Q: I missed my chance to invest in March. I'd like to invest if there is another opportunity. Can someone let me know the steps to invest? After watchingBill Smith on a YT podcast, I am fascinated in a useful way to create energy and illuminate waste at the same time. Wow! We need this! As someone who worked in energy, we need a change! Thank you! 🙂
- Q: How do I invest? Mark Brock
- Q: I invested $100 back in March of 2025 for the start-up and went to follow up on it today. I see that the money was refunded back to me. Did I miss the deadline. Did I not give the right amount. I was hoping to be part of the fundraising campaign and invest in your Company. Can you please tell me what happened to the initial $100. Steve Walters
