WHY would Amazon buy 460 brick and mortar stores in grocery when they avoided it in every other industry they've entered? Because they've come to the same conclusion that we have....that shopping for BREAD is not the same as shopping for BOOKS. Humans want to touch, smell, and taste their food while shopping and because of that most of us will continue to buy fresh food in physical formats. Tech will play a key role in the future of food but delivery is not the solution, it's a BAND-AID for a BROKEN SYSTEM.
