Automated follow-up emails are the best way to engage with an investor or potential investor, immediately after they've shown interest in your company. These emails get delivered to users automatically, by Wefunder, on your behalf.::Starting today, your company's automated emails have three switches instead of one. Open Settings > Company Settings > Growth Tools you'll see three rows:Each email has its own on/off toggle (1) and its own template (2).Click "Edit" (2, above) to open the template editor: (The brackets denote a variable, which will get autofilled when the email is sent with, for example, the user's first name or your first name.)::Why two kinds of follower emails?Adding a follower yourself requires a different wording from a stranger who follows you.The people you add from your network need to hear "you're on my list, here's what I'm building." The people who find you on their own already know that; they want "thanks for following, here's what's next."Important note: Turning one email on never turns on another. They're completely separate.::Do you want people to reply directly to you?You can edit the email sender!The email will still come from Wefunder, but any responses will go straight to you.::We recommend adding a concrete, optional call-to-action in each email template, for users who are looking to engage further. For example, social links to follow you elsewhere, details for an upcoming event, or even a calendar link to schedule time with your team.
