Dear Investors,After more than 13 years, we’ve made the difficult decision to wind down Petit Vour.It’s difficult to put into words what it feels like to write that. Petit Vour has been such an enormous part of our lives for more than a decade. We started the company when we were young, with a lot of conviction about the kind of change we wanted to see in the beauty industry. What began as an idea grew into something far larger and more meaningful than we could have imagined at the time.When we started Petit Vour, cruelty-free and vegan beauty occupied a very small corner of the industry. We wanted to make those products easier to discover and to show that choosing compassion didn't have to mean compromising on quality, experience, or excitement. Today, vegan and cruelty-free products can be found almost everywhere.There is something deeply bittersweet about that change. The world Petit Vour was created for has changed dramatically, and in many ways it changed in exactly the direction we hoped it would. At the same time, that evolution created an increasingly difficult environment for a small independent retailer dedicated exclusively to vegan beauty. After considering the paths available to us, we ultimately concluded that winding down the company was the responsible decision.That doesn't make saying goodbye any easier.We are incredibly proud of what Petit Vour became. Over the years, we had the opportunity to introduce hundreds of thousands of people to products and brands they might never otherwise have discovered, to help emerging companies find an audience, to build a team of people who cared deeply about what we were doing, and to contribute, in our own small way, to a larger movement toward a more compassionate beauty industry.None of that would have been possible without the people who believed in us, and that very much includes all of you.Your support gave us the opportunity to take an idea we cared deeply about and see how far we could take it. We have never taken that trust lightly, and we are enormously grateful that you chose to believe in Petit Vour and in us.There is much more we want to share with you about the company's journey. In the coming days, I'll send a more comprehensive retrospective and post-mortem. After thirteen years, we think the story deserves more reflection than we can give it in an announcement like this.For now, we wanted you to hear the news directly from us before we announce the closure publicly.Thank you for giving us the opportunity to build Petit Vour.
