After the final weekend results were tallied, DANIEL and the Fiery Furnace rose from #10 on the weekend to #9 in North America. Two weeks in the top 10 is an extraordinary result. This isn't merely an achievement for independent film, of which we've been #1 indie for 2 weeks in a row. Over $6.25M in box office and counting in North America. Even more so, with the 5 new wide releases hitting cinemas every week, from films budgeted over 30-100 times the budget of Daniel (you read that right), with 10's of millions in marketing spend behind them...But this is also a resounding AMEN to each of you and our communities of believers across North America, who have turned up. Some of our favorite audience feedback has been how much they loved the film...and how they loved it EVEN MORE on repeat viewings. Finding the hidden Easter eggs in the dialogue, plot, climax. It's all been so affirming of our overarching vision with Scripture to Screen. Unveiling the mysteries of God hiding in plain sight. Thanks for coming along for the ride. We are just getting started.RESERVE YOUR SEATS to see the film before it leaves theaters.Internationally, we just had our first opening weekend in Indonesia. WE OPENED #3 overall! With over $500,000 in box office. In 3 weeks we open in Brazil. Audiences from dozens of other countries are awaiting their cinema releases which are either in process, or the ink is still wet. The world is ready for Daniel and they are propelling our vision to bring the Word to life on screens all around the world.Keep us in your prayers as we begin writing the encore, and in the very near future we'll provide details about how you can partner with our ongoing vision to bring Scripture to Screen. We are so grateful for your partnership and prayers, and most of all, to the Most High, ElYon, the God of Daniel and his three friends. He walks with us through the fire still. He is our God, and we are all blessed to be His children.Very sincerely,The Kooman Brothers
