Hello all! Here is another installment of “The FINAL Steps” series as we share with you the outcome of our years of R&D. Everything is coming together and the one piece we’re focusing on today is our Generator! For years we’ve tested off-the-shelf ones and also worked on developing our own SAF (Simplified Axial Flux) generator.Now everything comes down to the wire as we prepare for low-volume production of our early-adopter units. This video goes into the outcome of our research and what our final decision is regarding our generator. This is actually a really important announcement and concludes years of generator R&D, so you’ll get the most by taking the 9 minutes to watch. We’re already testing them on our ALPHA turbines, and they’re performing well—and could have the capability to produce up to 1 kW (in very strong wind conditions).That means we’re officially moving forward with these generators and leaving our SAF design on the shelf for now. The years we spent developing it taught us a tremendous amount about exactly what we need from a generator.Most importantly, this puts us one step closer to low-volume production and our first customers. We’re getting closer to the end of this journey, and we’re grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way!
