First, our close date has moved to September 24. Wefunder approved a short extension at our request, because a handful of investors who committed in the final week needed more time to finish their paperwork and fund.Nothing about the terms, the cap, or the instrument changed. It's an administrative extension, not a reopening of the round.Second, for anyone who couldn't make the town hall, here's the recap.WHAT WE'RE BUILDINGDigital signs sell a guess, Surge builds the record. Sign owners price their boards off of old traffic counts, some three years old. Here's the conflict, when the ad agency says the numbers are inflated the owner can't dispute it and has to discount every renewal on every board. Nobody actually counts. We don't just count the sign, we measure the corner. Our record is what prices their board. Because the ground truth is worth money. That's Surge Percept. Our wedge: No Cameras. Our instrument sees geometry: shape, position, movement. It never sees faces, plates, or identity, because that information never exists in the first place. We call it privacy by architecture, anonymous by physics rather than by policy. Every camera-based competitor's privacy position is a promise. Ours is physics.Colocation contracted with Georgia Power in downtown Atlanta will allow our sensors to go up along the corridor facing Mercedes Benz stadium (NFL) and State Farm arena (NBA) that have over 200+ live events a year. A signed letter of intent with our first customer in Centennial Yards allows us to work with one owner that controls the digital billboards, sidewalk, and tenants.https://youtube.com/shorts/c51iQ6jVQ5sTHE SIGN IS OUR FIRST CUSTOMER, NOT THE LASTOur instrument doesn't just count in front of the sign. It measures the corner, and once it's up, it stays up. Retail wants footfall and dwell. Real estate wants the traffic that justifies a rent roll. Utilities want corridor condition without sending a truck. Autonomous fleets want a fixed vantage point at the intersection, from outside the car. One node, four buyers, no additional capital.Billboards are just the beginning. There are roughly 300,000 signalized intersections in the U.S., many with no digital billboards at all. The sign is the first customer, not the last. We're focused on unlocking those corners that allow us to server multiple buyers at the same time — monthly, recurring. Advertising is what pays to install it, one corridor at a time.Ownership follows location. Nodes on utility infrastructure are ours. Nodes on a property owner's site are funded by that owner. Owners fund deployment, customers buy the intelligence. On the Atlanta corridor we're in discussions and testing on a funding arrangement. Nothing is contracted, and if it executes, we'll report it.CHATTANOOGAWe finished our CO.LAB residency. The institutions that control pole access (TVA, EPB, UTC, the City, and CARTA) already sit at the same table, which compresses the most expensive and least visible cost in our business. The investor and operator swarms sorted real weaknesses from individual preferences fast. And Chattanooga is two hours up I-75 from Atlanta, so one team and one playbook serve both markets. Regional density before national reach is our main focus. Those rooms also produced introductions to VentureSouth and Atlanta's tech investor network, along with an invitation to apply. Nothing is scheduled yet but we are engaged in ongoing conversations and are applying to pitch.TRACTION, PLAINLYNo revenue is contracted today. New Orleans is a live testbed in public right-of-way. It validates the technology in the field, and we are in active discussion with retail and real estate. We have an exciting, evolving advisor engagement with CO.LAB that unlocks Chattanooga and Atlanta. Our first commercial LOI is signed in downtown Atlanta, and we're working with Centennial Yards on a commercial agreement.https://youtube.com/shorts/7oUoFopyiOATHE ROUNDWe're raising $700,000 and we're at roughly 86% committed. The round closes September 24. You can invest on our Wefunder page, and if you're already in, you can increase your commitment before the close. Start your transfer ahead of the 24th rather than on it. It needs time to settle, and commitments that start on close day sometimes don't land.— Miguel
