It's official: The Absence of Violet is greenlit for production. We're shooting in Port Townsend this fall.The final jump to greenlight actually came from two of you Wefunder investors who increased investments and closed the gap. This means a lot.To be clear on where we stand: we have what we need to make the movie now. We're still open to an additional $100K toward our P&A budget: PR & advertising that helps put the finished film in front of audiences and buyers next year.So if you've been watching from the sidelines, considering learning more about what it means to invest in a feature film that's taking off, this is the moment to jump on the train as it leaves the station.From here it's a lot of things happening at once: casting, finalizing the schedule, and beginning to crew up.
