This week, another significant investor came on board. Interest around this film has been building faster than we expected. So I'll break down exactly where we are: Our full budget is $990,000. But $100,000 of that is promotion and advertising -- money spent after there's a movie, on a separate timeline. The number that actually rolls cameras is $890,000. We have $840,000 committed. That's $50,000 from greenlight. Two commitments at the 25K minimum. Two. Which means whoever joins now will be the reason this movie exists this year instead of next. A decision our team will make this coming week.On the risk side, here are the facts. 95% of what we need to shoot is committed, including a Washington Filmworks incentive allocation previously approved. The development risk, the part where most indie films quietly die, is behind us. Script locked. Location chosen. November-December schedule set. One of our producers, Sean, is scheduling casting meetings in LA to acquire recognizable and talented actors, while our other producer, Jonathan Caso, is ready to crew up here in WA. There is no version of this where the money goes in and the film doesn't get made.We are not a team that makes films and hopes.
