We are this close to greenlit.But here's the truth about the situation: We have set a deadline of August 15th to close that gap. Why? A fall shoot means we need full pre-production runway to build a world-class cast and crew, so that our 20 shooting days become a film that's beautiful, festival-ready, and built to return money to the people who believed in it.If we don't close by mid-August, the responsible move would be to push to next year.But I've learned that momentum is the lifeblood of an independent film. So we're treating a Fall 2026 shoot as the one we must make happen.This is where you come in.There are 120 of you on Wefunder. I see even more have begun following this project on the platform since our initial round closed last year.You were the first money into this film — before the incentive, before major investors, before any of it.
