As I reported last week from Chicago, I chose to have a booth at the annual Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) massive tradeshow and expo, which finished on Wednesday. I'm finally coming back to Earth after the whirlwind of excitement (and hard work) of exhibiting for the first time at a major tradeshow....and boy, was it ever a success! Check out the summary below: We received over 68 sample requests (our goal was 20!) Over 120 ingredient and food companies wanted to follow up (our goal was 50!) Some of the bigger names that want samples and want to work with us include Kraft/Heinz, General Mills, Conagra, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo-Frito Lay, Cargill, Del Monte Foods, Nissin Foods, Simple Mills, POM, Mars, Givaudan, IFF, Corbion, Roquette, Glanbia, Amazon/Whole Foods Market...and many more! I'm absolutely thrilled about the traction and the interest, and we'll be working hard over the next few weeks. What's next: Continue raising money! Please share this exciting news with people you think would invest, and please consider adding to your investment! We're going into a pilot plant in order to produce the samples that are being requested. Should have them by end of August! Following up with the companies we know want to sample FUDI's RuBisCO and working out how we can support their product development process and incorporate our sustainable protein into their products!
