Not all light is equal when you're looking into a bloody field. We built color into the Lumohs single-use handle for a simple reason: blood treats different wavelengths very differently.Blood barely absorbs red light, so red illuminates a wet field evenly and with less glare, where pooling blood tends to darken everything under harsh white light.Blood absorbs blue light heavily, so under blue, blood-rich structures read darker and more defined against paler tissue, adding separation that broad white light flattens out.Same handle. Same field. See the visual enhancement during skin cancer surgery using Single-use Lumohs with different LED options.
