Just a quick update folks: we are now situated and moving forward in Hamilton, Ontario (west of Toronto) and locking locations and putting local cast together on top of the two actors we are still negotiating with. Dealing with the actor's union locally and hiring a UPM (unit production manager), First AD (runs the set and keeps us on track) and DP (cinematographer who understands the tone and feel of the film for all shots as we go). Dealing with bringing a brand sponsor on board as well (in talks), getting work permits for the American actors, and taking calls about post-production deals. Our official filming dates are August 11-21, flying up one week early for prep! The updates will be waaaaay more exciting when I can post pics from the set...
