One of the true differentiators that makes Seadog Travels stand out in the travel space is how the company embraces ocean conservation and science. It's not just lip service, either. It's concrete action to make contributions for the health and vitality of the ocean, which is under strain due to the effects of climate change and pollution.What are we doing? We're acting with both short-term and long-term intent. For the short-term, we have begun working with 4Ocean as a member of their WaveChanger program. We promote 4Ocean and its mission to remove plastic pollution from the ocean. As time progresses and as we grow, the commitment with 4Ocean will increase both financially and programmatically.For the long-term, we are developing an in-house, shipboard ocean sensor suite that will measure carbonate system parameters in the Caribbean Sea. Think ocean acidity and temperature, which are having accelerating negative effects on marine life. We completed a feasibility study recently and we're now ready for some engineering design and cost analysis work to bring the entire concept together. Once everything is operational we'll approach seafaring companies and work to partner with them to adopt the technology to run onboard their ships - and in an autonomous as possible a fashion so it's easy to install and use.So, Seadog Travels is definitely more than just another travel company. We're about the ocean, we're about discovery, we're about innovation, we're about keeping our planet and ocean healthy for everyone.I've been slowly building this effort, but now really is the time to accelerate rapidly and get growing.
